I agree with Ollie. Definitely stay away from Bob Saks completely! They will overcharge you like any dealership and especially if you are a woman! I took my vehicle in and asked them to do a THOROUGH check of everything because I need to put my car on the road. I also mentioned the car was overheating and i could feel it hesitating. I expected them to put it on a machine and run tests. They didn’t do that. I dealt with Doug the service manager the whole time. First he came out with an estimate for a water pump, new thermostat and serpentine belt. total= 646.50. I said no way! He well let me talk to parts department and see what I can do. He comes back 5 minutes later and says okay how about this–304.90? So i’m thinking why such a big drop? He says ,”I made a mistake and charged you twice on the labor for the thermostat and if you want to not do the thermostat and just the water pump and belt it will be 304. I was still thinking that was a little high, but I’m saying “ok they’re a dealer and I want it done right.” So I told them fis the pump and belt.
About an hour later the mechanic says the car is done to the service manager, but I pretend not to over hear. So I wait about ten more minutes and go to Doug to ask about the car. He says oh, it’s done. They bring the car out and now the ‘Low Coolant’ light is on which it wasn’t before. The mechanic comes to look at and pours more coolant into the reservoir. Light still on. He takes the car to the back, so I stood to watch from outside. He’s pretending to fumble around with the reservoir and letting the vehicle run, etc. He brings the car back out- light still on and starts saying that for all he knows the light was on when I brought it in. NO IT WAS NOT!! So the service manager says It might need a sensor, so I’ll check on the cost for you and just charge you for parts. Long story short… Did not get sensor, drove off and noticed later in the day the water pump is leaking. Looks like a new part, but it is still leaking!!! taking it back will update later.
