My car has been at Bob Saks for now 5 weeks. I still cant get a estimated time of fix from anyone there. All they tell me is “any day” Im not sure what that mean since the car went there on November 1st and it is now December 6th. The service department was rude and never gave any call backs that they promised. I am now getting a lawyer to help me with this situation. I would not send ANYONE to Bob saks. I wish I would have done my research before having my car taken there. Not 1 good review online. I already wrote the BBB and my only hope is that I will have my car back before christmas!
the price i recieved was way below the market, i shopped from temperance to gaylord and i could not match the price. salesperson was ok, i guess after a certain amount of days in stock they have to liquidate older stock. i found it on the internet before they were taking it to auction. also recieved a 3.9% interest rate which beat my credit union.:)
The price was great, service wrighter took car of all my needs and they even washed my car.
Stay clear of Bob Saks they have no consideration for anyone. I went in for a simple oil change and then had a problem getting my car out of park. They took a quick look @ it & said theyd get someone to help. Needless to say my husband and three kids waited for an hour and a half and was not helped so I called someone else . We were there for 2 hrs and not one operson came out to help. I will be contacting the BBB
Vehicle was brought in for a recall. I was told they would look over for any other issues. To my dismay, they came back with $500 worth of “maintenance” items they said were required on my vehicle including a transmission flush (I had one done 6 months ago at another Buick dealership) and “fuel injection service” , something not called out in the owner’s manual. They said the transmission fluid was dirty after 3,000 miles after last change. Talking with my son-in-law who works in the auto industry, 3 out of the 5 items they recommended were not required on my vehicle as called out in the owner’s manual for scheduled maintenance.
I am a 77 year widow on fixed income. I do not need this extra cost for items that do not need to be done, especially for items that WERE ALREADY DONE!
For your own good, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I learned from the residents in my apartment complex that this is known as a rip-off dealership around the Novi-Framington Hills area.
This is the type of dealership that causes customer dissatisfaction and does not bode well from a bankrupt company trying to pull out of bankruptcy. GM does not need dealers like this. Hopefully this is targeted for closure by GM.
Go to Bob Jeanotte Buick in Plymouth and stay away from BOB SAKS BUICK SALES AND SERVICE. Remember, if you buy a vehicle from the dealership, you will probably go there for there service. Do you want service like this???
I leased a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan from Bob Saks. It was the worst purchase decision of my life. First one of the first things I asked for was the back up sensors on the van, the factory installed sensors. The sales jerk assured me that the dealer could install the factory sensors at the dealership and my mistake was to agree to that. I took the van home later that night to bring it back two days later when they had the parts from Chrysler. Two days later they still didn’t have the parts and I was asked to come back again…and again…and again. When I complained to the sales manager he said they keep those parts in stock and they could do it that day.
When I picked up the car it looked like someones 5 year old had drilled two holes in the bumper and partially shoved a sensor in the hole. The paint was chipped around the edges and it looked really bad. When I rejected the work I was told that this is what the factory work looked like when done at the dealership. I again complained to the service manager and the sales manager and they said that it was thier mistake and they’d fix it. Two more days later and a clearly new bumper with four sensors that looked much better than the first attempt, but also clearly not the factory package. In frustration with the time I didn’t have the car and disgust with the dealership I took the car home.
Three months into ownership of the vehicle it developed a squeek that was unbearable. We took it back to the dealership again 😡 and asked them to fix it. they charged us $75 for a diagnostic and said it was a loose bearing and said they tightened it. Two days later the squeek returned, as did we to the dealership. These idiots said they didn’t know what was causing the squeak and couldn’t help us.
I complained to Chrysler headquarters, the BBB, and even tried to sue Bob Saks. The law suit was sent to arbitration which is designed for the dealers to get out of any responsibility for their actions. The BBB is a toothless lion and can’t do anything and Chrysler tried to make things better by paying for all of my maintainence for the life of the lease.
Over the course of the lease we had to replace the water pump twice, the powerstearing twice and the brakes. I’m sure this car was a lemon that the dealership sold us knowing that it was a broken car. Two years in to the lease Bob Saks lost the Dodge dealership, I hope that it was in now small part due to my many complaints to Chrysler head quarters. The Buick store was given to the dealer down the street and he was forced to move out to the Wixom area if he wanted to stay in business.
My sweet revenge was to hear that Kevin Michegan’s house burned down in Commerce township. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.
As long as Michegan has anything to do with that store they will continue to be a dishonest, filthy, group of liars and whores. I only hope they fail on a grand scale.
Where to start…
I’m an understanding person, I just want a company to be good to their word. I’m pretty sure a fast one was pulled on me at Bob Saks Pontiac Buick GMC. I was quoted a monthly price range, which they didn’t even come close to once the final financing was done. Not because the rate was different, because, well, I don’t know, my salesman has yet to explain it.
Second, dealer prep. The car I purchased is imported, and is shipped with tire pressure above the tire’s rated max pressure. No doubt, when the dealer takes delivery of the vehicle they are supposed to bring the pressure down to manufacturer’s pressure, but instead my car must have sat on the lot with 4 over inflated tires for months. Worse yet, I drove off the lot with these same over inflated tires only to discover this issue after looking at the owner’s manual. Pretty dangerous? 😮
Third, here I am, 1 month later, 13 days past the expiration date of my temporary license plate and the dealership STILL won’t return my calls or e-mails. It’s loads of fun having a new car in the driveway you can’t drive because the dealership is what? poorly run? going out of business? filled with ____:confused:. Feel free to fill in that last part. 🙁
Over all, I have to rate Bob Saks Pontiac Buick GMC as the WORSE purchase experience I have EVER had at ANY store of ANY kind. *sigh* 😡 Did I say ever? Just wanted to get that in again.
