My Glendale Chrysler Jeep reviewWe received a letter that this dealership was having a HUGE sale on 2/23/08. I didn’t notice anything special about it but okay my husband wanted a Jeep so why not go look and see what they have. We test drove 2. The first one had a dead battery. No big deal. The salesman charged it up and off we went on a test drive. Well we are getting ready to turn in the dealership and the Jeep dies on a very busy street. How embarrassing. We finally get the Jeep back to the dealer and decide that we want to go drive another one. This one is fine. Great condition and my husband decides he likes it. We went back to figure some numbers and got things where we wanted them to be. The salesman tells us we have to talk to the financial department so he walks us across the lot to another building. We were told to sit in this waiting room and someone would be right with us. A woman comes out and tells us she will be right with us. No big deal. We have already been at the dealer for about 2 hours or so at this point. What is a little more waiting going to hurt. While we are sitting in this room we can hear the woman on the phone laughing and talking to what sounded like a friend. After about a half hour still no help. We were getting a little crabby because we had already been at the dealership for about 3 hours. No papers signed ( no lunch) nothing. We decided to just get up and leave and go back to the salesman and get our keys. After about 15 minutes of trying to find the person who had our keys and find the car we were pretty upset. There were numerous salesmen in the lobby and no one really stepped up to help and they obviously saw that we were upset. We finally got the keys and the salesman said that he would figure thing s out and give us a call. Saturday..no call. Monday we realized that we left the title at the dealership so my husband called and the financial lady tells my husband that she has things right where we want them all we have to do is go up and sign papers. She said she just had to finalize things with the salesman and we could go sign the papers on Wednesday. Wednesday rolls around and he tells them that he will go up there but he wants to know that things are in order and all he has to do is sign papers and that is the end of it. She tells him okay. He gets to the dealership she tells him that she needs $3000 and the payments were going to be $50 higher than what she said earlier in the day. So he gets angry talks to the owner. The owner who appeared to be upset but wanted to find out all the details “can’t take care of it right now because he has to leave because his wife has an appointment”. Good luck making any deals with these people. I thought the customer was always right. Not at GLENDALE…if they wanted to sell that Jeep it could have been gone on Saturday. Today is Wednesday and the Jeep is still on the lot. Watch out for their sales. They have to get these cars off their lots but they just can’t seem to let go. BOTTOM LINE….If you want poor customer service and the run around visit GLENDALE.
