Nicole Wantuch offered to give me other services in exchange for my cooperation.
I’m from out of state and purchased a 2016 GTR from this dealer with 5,026 miles, in Sept 2017. Described as in pristine condition and with remaining factory warranty, this car was advertised for $80,000 and looked great on TrueCar and the dealers website. I bought it for the asking price and paid to have it delivered to me via an enclosed trailer. Immediately during the purchase I found it fishy when the dealer wouldn’t sell me a Nissan extended warranty (they did push for a 3rd party warranty), as they love to sell these but it didn’t concern me much due to having remaining factory warranty.
My car was delivered and right off the bat it had minor electrical issues with tail lights, dead battery, and blown fuse. Had those issues fixed at a local Nissan Dealer. After driving it for a bit I noticed the car had no high beams. No big deal, something that I rarely used anyway. A few months later while installing new tires at a Nissan Dealer, I had them inspect the highbeams. Turns out that Nissan changed the design of the lights for the GTR in 2015, with new generation LED headlights which cost $2,000 each at your local Nissan Parts store. My current headlight highbeams per Nissan didn’t work because, they had been removed and replaced with older generation headlights that cost $3-400 each. Also verified while there, that my rear bumper is from a 2013 GTR, as the VIN # is identified on each GTR panel for easy verification, reason why tail lights had issues early on. I contacted Autobarn Nissan dealer via email on 3 different occasions, and have received no response. Contacted the Nicole Wantuch, Miki Kandric and Ricahrd Fisher of the dealership and no one responded. I have photos and video of the car at dealership and arriving off the delivery truck as proof that these headlights were installed prior to receiving vehicle. Dealership is not honest nor honorable.
Thank you.
