The MANAGER who pulls the credit and negotiates was ABSOLUTELY RUDE and has no people skills! I told him I was buying a vehicle within the hour, Internet price was $25.999 and he wouldn’t negotiate at ALL! Kept giving me higher priced comparisons. LOST a deal because of his ATTITUDE. Bald salesman was very helpful and pleasant. It’s a shame you allow such an inexperienced person to have the manager position. My friend bought a vehicle there and had a bad experience and I disregarded her opinion. Won’t happen again.
I was very disappointed with the service at Metro Honda. I leased a vehicle from them with a deposit down to cover tax, title, and registration.
Three and a half weeks later, my car isn’t registered and my temporary plates have expired. When I called to inform them of this fact, they told me there was a problem with getting the car registered and needed more info from me. This was the first I had heard of this, they never contacted me to get the proper info, and in fact I had called them the week before to see if the registration had been done. They told me not yet, but we will give you a call when it is.
When I brought the expired plates to their attention, I asked if there was something that they could do so that I could drive the vehicle for the weekend, since the registry was already closed. I asked if I could have a new temp plate, they told me this was illegal. Ok, well can I use a dealer plate and return it when I get my proper plates. They told me they don’t give out dealer plates to customers. I asked if I could borrow a loaner vehicle, they said they don’t have any. I asked if they would cover a rental car for the weekend. Again I was told they wouldn’t do that. And when I asked well then what I am supposed to do for the weekend, they told me to drive the car and be careful. WOW!!! They actually told me to break the law.
They also said that they would register the vehicle on Monday, it never happened. I received the automatic dealer survey from Honda on monday. I gave them an average of 2 out of 5 stars, for the service I received. And I informed them of this when I found out that they still hadn’t registered the car. After that they were incredibly rude, told me that I had ruined their bonuses, and told me they would “TRY” to get the car registered on Tuesday. Needless to say, I am reporting them to the BBB and I also called the state police to report that they told me to drive around on expired plates.
