Worth my time! Great experience, thought I’d come in to look at 2010 Jettas and I’m leaving with a 2011 Jetta within my budget! Thanks Joe!
My third car from Heritage Volkswagen! Fantastic buying experience. Best buying options and great rates! Great people at Heritage VW! Joe’s the best!
Very professional. Second time my family have used Heritage and we will come back! The sales staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.
My overall experience was great here at Heritage Volkswagen. I look forward to working with them as well as scheduled maintenance on the vehicle. 😀

From sales to finance to management, everyone is always very courteous and helpful when I come in. This is the third car I have purchased from this location and the commitment to customer satisfaction makes me refer my friends to this store.
I was in the market for a 2010 VW Golf TDI. I sent an initial email in early August and drove out to the dealership about a week later after looking at consumer reports. I arrived after 7:00pm on a Friday night. I met with the owner and he introduced me to one of his salesmen, John, who began showing me a 2010 VW Jetta in the showroom, which I was a little irritated about as I had come to look only at the VW Golf. At any rate as he went over the car and explained the features I thought more and more about it and gave the Jetta a try. I loved the handling and especially the trunk storage space. Long story short I never even bothered to look at the Golf TDI. We filled out the credit app on the car, they looked at my 2007 Hondar CRV I was trading in and did everything I asked.
There were no surprises in the financing or trade-in of the CRV. The finance department did not pressure me on any options. He explained them to me and let me choose which I wanted or did not want.
Despite the late hour John patiently went over the car a second time before I drove it off the lot. He was quite knowledgeable.
They did everything exactly as they said. I am very satisfied with my experience at Lithia Springs Heritage. And I’m very happy with my VW Jetta TDI.
I took my vehicle to be repaired at Heritage Volkswagen after being promised the problem has been taken care of the next day I got back my vehicle. While going to the work less than 24 hrs later the same problem occurred. I was broken down on 285 and when I called the dealership, I was told to “Call back in an Hour”. How would you take this if this were you as a female or your mother, sister, girlfriend! After calling multiple times, (while still stuck on the side of the road) I finally was transferred to someone who I thought would help me but instead I was told that it would cost me $139 to have them tow me back to the dealership but “If I wanted to save some money to get someone myself and have them tow it in.
I found someone to tow my car back to them and was told that it would be taken care of. LIttle did I know that now it would cost me twice what I had already paid.
It’s not over. Finally after much fustration, and no assistance from Heritage Volkswagen, I had another mechanic look at my vehicle and found that the problem had nothing to do with what they suggested I have done.
The treatment that was done to me as a female or better yet as a human being was uncalled for and should not happen to another living human being.
😡
they have rectified the problem with my winnings verbally.
I am happy to inform the board .That Steve Johnston has verbally told me that i have indeed won, and my coins will be in my hand in a week .So i must give him credit on trying to clear up the problem we had in the beginning . He was probably not ready for a winner to show up this weekend . And was caught off guard by my wining . SO to clarify they will be awarding me my prize next week some time .So i apologize for the things said in anger, after reading some of the post on here .I thought he was not going to award my prize. he has made good verbally ,and that will work with me now. He has turned out to be a man of character. I will post the minute i get my prize. jeremy hale
I was in the dealership yesterday and was very disappointed. I had an appointmet at 3pm and when I arrived I waited 10 minutes on the salesman to find the key to the car I had called about the day before. I even received a call from a manager yesterday morning confirming my appointment . After a test drive we sat down to discuss price, and I requested the out the door price. After another 15 min. wait I was confronted by Steve with more paper work, that was not what I had ask for and by the end of our conversation I got up and left. I never saw any of the paper work I had requested and I was left with the impression that the salesman and the manager were not willing to discuss the price of the car. I have purchased many cars and trucks, and several times I have paid more than the initial maximum I set for myself. This time I got the feeling there was no opportunity to even discuss the price. Brian did not do what I ask him to do and Steve just made the entire situation worse. It may be a long time before I revisit your dealership or advise anyone else to do so.
My partner and I came in to look at a Toureg. We were greeted by a stupid under qualified sales person name Brian. He did not know anything about the cars on the lot at all so we were handed off to Nathan .This guy who is apparentley the sales manager.Who is the biggest crock that I have ever seen .He will lie to your face and dont care. The car me and my partner bought has been the biggest piece of shit I have ever owned. They refused to fix my car at all. The owner is Nathans father ..The whole family works there and are nothing more than crocks.I would never buy another car from this dealership at all. They said they replaced my brakes but 3 months later I had to replace them myself.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:.Bad carma comes to people who are not honest and screw people over!!!!
We drove 30 minutes to look at a 2005 GTO after being advertised on their own website for $15,103. The salesperson at the used lot was fine and helped us out. We were ready to purchase and we filled out credit app. The salesperson faxed it over to the main Heritage office and was told that the price was wrong. The car was actually $16499! He tried to explain to the manager that he himself had pulled up the website and seen the price also. The manager said too bad. We then drove over to the Heritage VW lot to speak to the manager, Nathan. When we arrived, a different manager tried to tell us that the internet company made mistakes. He argued with us and we even told him we would contact BBB and possible a lawyer for false advertising. He didn’t care and at one time even walked away. We left and even tried to call the manager Nathan and were told he would not speak with us. I have also been told to contact the local news stations to let people know how this company treats its customers.
I am writing this review on heritage volkswagon so that maybe i can prevent someone from trusting the high pressure sales staffs promises and suger coated lies about their vehicles condition and inspection checks they CLAIM to do on their used cars like i did.
I bought a 2002 vw bug from this dealership abour 4 months ago.
Before coming to the dealer i was told this car was in perfect condition and he looked over it himself and it was just like new. I told the salesman on the phone i was driving 2 hours so please make sure to tell me any defects before i leave he replied theres not a scratch on it.
when i arrived at the dealership i test drove the car and the sales person explained everything about the car and features that i wasnt aware of. Almost everything he told me about the car i later found was completely false even the simple sound options i ask about he answered with whatever he thought i wanted to hear.(the salesman had no knowledge of the vehicle he was selling whatsoever). after the drive i noticed oil leaking under the car the salesman tried to tell me that was from the last oil change still dripping from a little over spill.
then i was looking at the front bumper and grille and i noticed it was busted and hanging down. i touched it and the whole bumper fell off. salesman said oh i didnt see that! The passenger mirror was also busted out along with the front fog light. and the front bumpers paint was badly chiped and there were around 12 dents on the car total.
So after they checked the oil leaking they said it was just the oil filter loose (total lie) so i asked if they were going to fix the bumper laying on the ground and they advised me they would for $700 so i said ok well just give me some zip ties and ill try to hang it back up. the sales guy watched me on the ground fixing it i asked him for help and he advised me he had brand new pants on. i then asked if he could get me a knife he said be right back. i layed on the ground waiting 20min he wasnt back so i went to get it myself and he was with other co-workers smoking and laughing. I had already paid for the car or i would have never bought it AND WALKED OUT THEN
Last but not least the car had the air bag light on so they said they would check it out. They told me it was the seatbelt sensor and the air bag was working just fine. I ask them if they were sure because if the airbag wasnbt working i need to get it fixed. they told me they checked everything with computer inspections and they checked the air bag and it was fine the seat belt sensor was just not reading.
4 months later a simple inspection and the vw dealership in TN and they told me the air bag was not working and bad. They also told me that the seat belt sensor had nothing to do with the driver air bag. he advised me of the cost and said the dealer who sold it to you knew what the problem was they just didnt want to pay for a new one.
It could have cost me my life if i wouldnt have found out
Ok now 4 months later it cost me $900 for the front bumper. $50 for the mirror. $140 for striped out oil drain plug. $1400 for the new air bag. and they also messed up all of the paper work that by the way they charged $1200 to do and i ended up doing it myself.
So there was no mistake here the sales person lied to me about the condition of the car. and he lied to me about all of the problems with the car that he knew was a lie just to get the sale. i hope this keeps someone else from getting lied to like i did.
** DO NOT TRUST THEM **
I was terribly disappointed with this dealership. I would NOT recommend Heritage Volkswagen to ANYONE.
I found a used vehicle on Autotrader.com, and came in to see the vehicle. After driving 30 miles to the dealership, and test driving the truck, we discussed the price of the vehicle.
The price advertised was 9,800. I was happy with that price, but the sales manager presented me with a price of 11,300. I told my sales person (who was friendly, but unprofessional, using obscene language) about the difference in price, and he said he would work on it. The sales manager printed me out an autotrader.com page of the vehicle, stating the price he wanted. The sales manager “put a negotiating call into the owner” and came down to 10,800. After refusing to work with me any farther, I was pressured into “signing off” on the price, by initialing next to it. I still was uncomfortable about this, so I walked out, and went back home to check my own page.
With my printed page of the 9,800, I called the salesman, and he talked me into coming back to the dealership. I was getting outside financing from my personal bank for a better rate, and told my bank manager about it, and she said she would try to take care of it. On return to the dealership, the finance manager was EXTREMELY rude and cocky to me, down talking me about how “signed off on the price.” I even went as far as threatening legal action through a lawyer, and he blew that off with a quick laugh. He also refused to drop a single bit of the SIX-HUNDRED DOLLAR dealership fee, on top of the fee to register the vehicle. My final price came up to 11,800, for a vehicle that was advertised for 9,800.
After all of this, I was again disappointed from this dealership. The registration for my vehicle was never filed, until I called about it, days before the expiration of my temporary tag. Since she was not going to be able to register it in time, she sent me a new date for my tag. After nearly a month and a half, I was finally able to register my vehicle.
I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone, and would advise anyone considering a purchase from this dealership to avoid at all costs. Get your vehicle somewhere else.
