I have real bad experience at Muller Honda. i am existing Honda customer and today I went to buy Honda crv. As very normal buying process, I got some price quote from other Honda dealers before I stopped by. To my surprise , when I mentioned sales person that I have quote from other dealer. He stopped all discussion and mentioned that they can not give any price to me as I came up with other dealer quote. that was very rude and waste of my time. i have already discussed this with them over email and they never mentioned any issues with it until I stopped by and started negotiation. Checking different dealers price is very normal in car buying process. The way Muller Honda treated me today is absolutely wrong. I will never recommend you to any of my friends and Families. Hope you can learn from this review and treat customer with dignity.
2010 Honda Fit. Great car, service poor. Feb ’16 brakes checked no need to service. Mar’17 and only 4000 miles later, was told two new brake rotors needed – rust on edge of rotors so may not successfully resurface. ~$100 per rotor. I argued should have been told in Feb’16 if it was properly checked. Marc Schwartz Service Mgr argued the way it was checked impossible to check everything. Than what is the purpose of the ‘multipoint’ inspection? He belittled me, constantly interrupted my talking and refused to give more than $50 off, plus wouldn’t honor the $20 email coupon Muller sent. Talked to General Manager Jeff Harris who further belittled me, slowly and repeatedly stressed “13 months” arguing that this is common with low mileage cars (then why didn’t the tech 13 months ago inform me), argued that threats of customer service complaints seldom address (then why does Muller send out customer surveys?) and after a heated argument back and forth offered to accept the coupon by “pay out of my own pocket”. He followed me out his office door and placed his arm on my shoulder – a sign of who the dominant person was.
I feel as if I was used as fodder for their egos, over a $200 dispute. What normally is an enjoyable half day to, at and from this dealer, turned into a disgust that dealers still use old tricks once one already bought a car and now comes in for service. I had a $75 service credit for recommending a friend buy a car from Muller, and suspect that since it was in my file rather than with me, they new about it (rather than handing it to the cashier at the end) and decided to make up this $75 loss by charging me for two brake rotors. An old trick, same reason why any coupons are to be disclosed during the write up so that it could be made up elsewhere.
Honda Fits rock but stay away from service from Muller.
High-pressure salesperson told me the car I wanted to buy was available through a dealer-swap and would be delivered in two or three days. He took a $500 deposit. The car did not exist and it took me over three weeks to get my money back, after enduring repeated run-arounds from supervisory staff. This place is a throwback to the bad old days of Buyer Beware, Are You a Sucker? auto sales.
No pressure buyng a Honda CRV. Attractive discount off MSRP thorugh internet sales. I would recommend this step first. Fair on trade in (check KBB or Edmunds) be prepared to negotiate. KBB or Edmunds is a “ballpark” number. Shop financing. They will match your rate. Ask for Pawle pronouced Paul. Knowledgeable person. No pressure.
I was a state away trying to find everything I was looking for in a used vehicle and found it. I called the dealership and talked to the used car salesman, who was pretty nice. The pictures I had seen online on consisted of some exterior pics and pictures of the dash & steering wheel none of the seats, carpets, or cargo area. I requested more pics, video, and asked some questions. I did not want to drive 6.5 hours to find any disappointments that I could have known about had I asked or seen the pics. First I was told they could not make a video and there were lots of pics online. Yes, I had seen the ones online but they did not show the whole vehicle and lots of stuff could have been hidden with only those few pics. Then I receive a video but it is of the wrong vehicle. Thanks for that! Anyway, after about 15 emails and a couple of calls I get more photos but still of only the exterior and dash/steering wheel. What’s wrong with these people. My questions were not answered but we did agree on a price. They agreed on what I offered so that did make me happy. I began making arrangements to travel there the following Monday (This was on a Friday). I made plans for a babysitter and found someone to go with me (who took off work to go) and sent my credit application to finance it through the dealership to make it easier than contacting my bank on Monday and being out of state. Saturday morning the salesman called and really wanted me to make a deposit so it wouldn’t be sold on their busiest day. So, even though I didn’t want to I did. $500 deposit to hold the vehicle until Monday. The business manager called and asked a few questions about financing and started on that. Then later that afternoon I get an email from the sales manager that he is sorry but the vehicle was already sold!!!! And my deposit would be refunded. WHAT!!!!!! After all of that they sold it! I called the salesman I had been dealing with and he said that the manager was afraid I would show up and “pick it apart” because I was asking so many questions. Ummmm…..of course I asked a lot of questions, I’m driving 6.5 hours to buy a vehicle I’ve not driven or seen in person (much less not seen all of)! So after I had made a deposit of $500 to hold the vehicle the manager made a decision to go ahead and sell it to a customer that wanted it Saturday for asking price. I understand business is business but they pressured me into the deposit TO HOLD IT! Then sold it anyway. Had I not made the deposit it would have just been my loss. But not only that, he didn’t even had the decency to call me and tell me. He sent it to me in an email and lied by saying he didn’t know it was already sold. It was not sold when I made the deposit! So not only that, but he sold it out from under my salesman and he lost the commission. So, not impressed with Sales Manager Luigi! I would not want to work for this guy or buy anything from him. He is the reason car dealers have such a bad name for lying! You really can’t believe anything they say!
If you enjoy being treated like you are stupid this is the place to go.
The salesperson with operating with an outdated model treating a customer poorly.
Remember the dinosaurs once ruled the earth and are now extinct. I believe that car dealers are facing the same future if they behave the same old way operating on the same old model.
thats what happens when you buy imports!!!
