Sent an Email with a quote on a vehicle and no one ever responded.:mad:
I found the car I wanted and it listed at 19,900 I told the salesman I would not even test drive it because we are too far away on price and he stated “you thinking more around 18000?” I said “no more around 17000.” He said oh we are so close in our price we can work together, so take it for a ride. I said ok and did. After looking and poking I told him I would think about it and come back tomorrow. I sent an email and said if your willing to come down a tad ill come up. are we able to meet close, because I dint want to waste my time if we are far away in price! He said we are good come in, so I did. After meeting and filling out paper work he said “OK Ill talk to my manager and get you a good price.” HE come back with 19,700!! I said WHAT! He said yeah I guess your were thinking around 18000, but I can’t do that! I said, “Didn’t we talk about starting at 18000 and working around that! HE said yes but I’m sorry I cant! I said thanks for wasting my time, that was not right, that was a LIE! I left
many cracks in dash. All cracks occured this year in 2009. Most recent cracks have been in the past 2 months when its not even been hot outside. 3 cracks are over a foot in length. Acura said, sorry cant help you. but you can pay us 1700 to replace it for you. I wasnt looking for a free hand out as i know they make warranties for a reason. but some assistance or something seriously. Called acura’s main cust. service and they just said they would make a note of it. Went to the dealership in Greenville SC and service was extremely poor. I purchased the car in GA and had great service there but once i moved here, service in Greenville is terrible. Will not buy another acura for these reasons along with some others. just very unhappy with the dash cracking as bad as it is. I thought about fixing it but decided i would leave it so everyone could see and I could spread the word as much as possible. Acura said this is a prob from 03-08 acuras. if under warr. they will fix but 1 mile over warr the bill is yours. poorly made product. if i wanted that i would buy a cheaper car. these are not cheap so i expect more. once you are out of warr. acura will drop you like nobodys business. Espically Greenville SC. do not buy there. District Manager is Mr. Simpson. He is terrible. Tech at dealership is Doug. He is just as bad. They have no care or want in helping you with anything. Will not answer your questions. So I said after I found out they would not help in repairing my dash and I said “basically I am screwed” and they both said “yes”. thats what I call customer serv. there.
also many of the lights under the buttons have gone out. Atleast half. Had those replaced when under warr. but they go out again a week later. after fixing over 3 times I just left it alone. Cant see anything in the dark though so that sucks. again, poorly made product.
Had car in dealership for water leak. Original date of water leak found was 8/2008 that the dealership stated was condensation from the A/C. Took the car back and they could not find the leak. Called in a specialist and had to take the car back 3 times before leak was found. On third try they called me and stated leak was fixed but car would not start. The PCM had gotten wet from leak. They had the car about 8 days and this happened on the 7th day. They then told me the cost was $1000.00 but they covered HALF under a warranty. Therefore I owed $500.00 on top of the $170.00 I paid to have the leak fixed. Then there were multiple scratches on my car from previous visits. Complained to General Manager, but only took off $100.00 from total repair which is now at $570.00. FOR A LEAK THEY KNEW ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO!!! Would recomend ACUTECH in Greenville, SC. They cost half what the dealership cost and Terry Kitchens won’t make you feel like crap when you complain about their work being half done. Would NEVER recommend Acura service from Bradshaw Acura. However, the body shop does EXCELLENT work.
I was contacted by Larry Frank about my posting. He was very apologetic for what had happened in the service department and told me that he would do anything he could to earn back my business and to correct the previous problems. I think I will try to see what will happen and update you on the service quality. Hopefully the quality will be back to where it was one year ago.
I have had my car in for the same repair three times now. I dropped it off this morning and they had the nerve to ask me to pay for the $90 dollar diagnostic fee!! Why pay for it again when it didn’t work the first two times. My car is still not fixed, they did not say they were sorry. They treated me like all of it was my fault. I have paid over $1000 dollars for it to be fixed. I have the 100k warranty, which is a joke!
