I found a used car on their website, got a price and when we got there it was not the same car they had on their website. Many missing features (ie navigation). Then after they promised a gas card if I test drove, I had to ask three times for the card. Too many employees all doing nothing. They even asked if I would look at a new vehicle and told them what I wanted and the salesperson never came back to me.
Since I bought my Eqinox my daughter and son have each bought suburbans and I am considering purchasing another truck from this dealership because we where treated fairly.
I would never consider doing business at this dealership. I saw two different ads for the same malibu online. I chatted with one of their salesman online and asked about the price difference. I was told to bring in the lower priced ad and I would recieve that price. I followed up three more times with emails and calls to verify this. I live over an hour away and called one last time. I told the salesperson that I had the financing and the down payment but I didnt want to show up and be told that I didn’t qualify for a certain rebate or that the car had already been sold. I then asked If i show up will you sell me this car for this price and was told “YES SIR.” I showed up about two hours later and got the runaround. I didnt qualify for $2800 in rebates, the hubcaps had been removed from the vehicle, and never did meet the salesperson I had talked to on the phone. I got two different stories on why I could not see her. These salesmpeople are out to get you for every dollar they can squeeze out of you and they have no problem telling you bold facede lies. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Beareau. Spoke to Chevrolet Corp. Marketing, and even called the Hodgkins PD to see if this qualified as outright fraud. Don’t do business here. Run, run as fast as you can to another dealership that might possibly have some small smattering of integrity!
Dishonest info over the phone
I am very happy with my car. My salesman Fabian was great especially with my wife. He respected her opinion and listened to her needs.”
I highly recommend this dealer
Purchased a 2006 Pontiace G6 for my daughter on September 18, 2009 and then on September 19, 2009 I also traded in my car for a new car. ~7 weeks later my daughter went back to Advantage Chevy’s service department to have the brakes checked out—as it turned out she not only needed front brakes (rotors and brake pads) but new tires as well (at the cost of ~$800.00). We were informed that there was barely any thread left on the tires (which to me deemed unfit). I understand that these things are not covered under warranty, but my concern is, in ~7 weeks times how could the brakes and tires go bad. I talked to the sales manager Mike and of course there is nothing anyone could do. It makes me suspicious as to how well these used cars being inspected. Unfortunately I am out the money but here I thought I was getting a very reliable car for my daughter and now I’m not so sure. Bottom line is this—I will never set foot in Advantage Chevy and if someone does, please have your mechanic with you!
Don’t expect service on a vehicle purchased used from this dealership. Nothing is covered on the warranty and they are very dishonest. After getting the run around about repairs and coverage only 11 days after my purchase, I had my vehicle towed out to a more reliable and truthful repair shop. When they went to pick up my vehicle “someone” told the tow driver that there was alot more wrong with my vehicle than what they put on my receipt. When I called to ask what they ment, they denied saying anything! What a rip off.
This was by far the best car buying experience that I have ever had. The entire staff was very helpful and pleasent to deal with.
First visited the dealer on a Saturday and we couldn’t come to an agreement on the price, which is fine. They called me on Monday to say they couldn’t meet my price but could probably go halfway. We really liked the car and probably would have paid close to what their price was on Saturday so we went in after informing them that we had a meeting later that evening and the sales manager promised everything would be ready to go. When we showed up nothing was ready to go. When we finally began talking price the price had jumped $500 dollars and we were told that the manager would never offer our original price. Don’t bother with this dealer, they are dishonest.
I am glad I did not purchase my daughter’s vehicle here. When my daughter and I arrived the farthest we got into the dealership was the front door. We were never offered a seat. The salesman talked with us at the front door. The service was terrible.
The auto we drove had water dropping down on us from the windshield. The seal on the windshield was not sealed or something. It was cold that day, my daughter and I had to stay outside with him to get the car.
We went to Westfield Ford and received excellent service. We were treated as queens. That is where we purchased her SUV
