We filled out a application online and were told we were Pre-Approved and were told we didn’t need any money down, drove 2 hours just to find out there was nothing they could do for us. I will never be back to that place again and I will never refer anyone to them.
I drove several hours to complete a purchase of a vehicle at this dealership, after speaking to Matt several times on the phone to verify the details. Advised him i would be bring a cashiers check and when to expect me. Matt called while i was on my way to verify i was coming. Upon arrival at the dealership i asked for Matt but was told he was not available, and advised the vehicle was not currently at the lot, but was being looked at by the Service Department for a minor issue. Another salesman offered to show me some other vehicles while i waited. which i did. Eventually I was told the vehicle was not available and given another story ! Total wast of time.
They don’t have negative stars, so they get 1. About 18 months ago, my son was trying to get a Soul. After communicating with them for a couple weeks, he was told to come on down and get the paperwork going. We went the 100 miles. His credit wasn’t good enough. I gave my info. I could get the the Soul, in my name only. If he was on the note, he could only get a used something- Mitzubishi maybe? Since he was trying to build his credit, after 4 hours and countless reps, we left. (Felt like a time-share sales pitch).
Last week, my minivan was caught in a flash flood & the insurance totaled it. After doing a bit of online window shopping, I remembered the offer of the Soul. I can’t use a Soul. I must have a minivan due to hauling my mobility scooter. I filled out the app then called them. I stressed that ONLY a minivan would work for me. They assured me I could get a 2016 Kia Sedona. Being cautious beause of what happened with my son, I still drove down, bringing all requested documents.
My niece & I pulled into a lot with a bunch of men dressed in shorts & loafers waving like giant inflatable gorillas. I get out of my rented Kia Sedona & request to see “Jennifer” as I was told she would be my salesperson. One of the guys escorted me in and went to get Jennifer. He returned saying he was going to help me. I gave him the requested documentation. He returned and said I didn’t have enough income. On his request, I contacted my husband & then included Hubby’s income. On his request, I contacted my husband & then included Hubby’s income, which I was able to document online.
He left and came back with an offer…of a “small CUV”, I think probably a Soul, but didn’t ask. I explained that I MUST have a minivan. He left & another guy came back and asked about a down payment. We don’t have one because of the circumstances-we are upside down on the totaled van about 1K, which will would have been down payment money…Guy 2 offers a pickup. Apparently “Must have a MINIVAN” is beyond there comprehension. Guy 2 leaves and Guy 1 returns. I attempt to leave & he says to let him try one more thing.
He was gone 15-20 minutes. On his return, he offers a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country, with a “small down payment”. I told him I could get the same van nearer home with NO down, so it was time for me to go.
Before I left, I did tell them what I thought about them deliberately misleading people and causing them to waste valuable time & money. This “dealership” is part bait-&-switch, part time share sales and part payday loan. They are very careful to not put anything in writing annd wording answers to protect themselves but still convince you that you qualify for the vehicle you are interested in. I did give them a 2nd chance after what happened to my son, but I won’t do it again. I’ve never been to any other Kia dealer, but if you are truly interested in buying one, go to another dealer, even if you have to go out of state. Overall, DO NOT BUY HERE!
We went to trade in vehicle we bought from big red at a different place. Big red lied to us we should have got better financing, new car dealer couldn’t help us bc now we owe to 12 to 13k more than car is worth due to their 19 percent financing. We should have been financed in single number range. Big red lied said we had bad credit, we did not. It has only been year and half since we bought car. Do not use this place.
I just found out that the vehicle they sold and that im still paying on has frame damage which they did not tell me when i got the vehicle
