It’s actually very difficult in this active life to listen news
on TV, so I just use web for that reason, and get the hottest news.
I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills as neatly as with the layout to your weblog. Is that this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it is uncommon to look a great blog like this one nowadays..
On June 2, 2012 I spoke with Nadia Yruegas several times through email about a 2011 Hyundai Genesis VIN#KMHGC4DF9BU138610. Due to the complexity of the conversation, I spoke with Nadia on the phone about my intentions to title and register my vehicle in Florida which is my home of record since I am Active Duty military. During the same phone conversation, I also discussed with Nadia that the price we were negotiating was the out-the-door price. After an email offer of $28,500.00 from me, Nadia called to congratulate me because her manager, Kenneth Brooke, accepted our offer. Shortly after at 3:27pm Kenneth Brook(used car manager) called to tell me that Nadia did not have the approval to notify me YET of the $28.5k offer. I told Kenneth that if they backed out of the offer I would not buy the car. Kenneth replied with “I guess we will honor the offer”. My wife and I arrived at Absolute Hyundai dealership at 7:20pm, which is 2 hour and 15 minutes from my house. We didn’t sign paperwork until approximately 1045pm!! Granted we test drove two vehicles but we were done testing driving before 8pm so we waited for hours. In addition, there was damage to a trim piece on the top of the car and it had not been detailed which would be expected of an almost 30k vehicle. Finally, we met Omar, the finance guy. Omar put several pieces of paperwork in front of me to sign. This paperwork included: 1. A form allowing Absolute Hyundai to release non-public information to 3rd parties for marketing purposes. I confronted Omar about this and he said that it was just for Absolute Hyundai to use. Then I pointed out that it stated third parties which he replied with “well, we hire third parties to handle our marketing”. I then refuse to sign paperwork that consented to the release of my information for marketing purposes. He allowed me to line through that portion and then I signed the document. But that shouldn’t even be part of the paperwork to BUY a car. 2. He also presented me a sheet that had a breakdown of all the different numbers to include sales price, down payment, fees, etc. This sheet was completely wrong and had INcorrect information such as me putting down a $3,500.00 down payment when in actuallity I was putting ZERO down. I told Omar that the information was incorrect and he instructed me to just go ahead and sign it because it was not the actually bill of sale. I refused and told him that I would not sign anything that was not 100 percent correct. He allowed me to line through everything that was incorrect, which was everything except for the $28,500.00 figure. He then proceeded to make write-in changes clarifying the price and had me sign next to the write-in changes which seemed legit. 3. Finally, he put a bill of sale in front of me which did not reflect the agreed upon out-the-door price of $28,500.00 but had a sales price of $28.5k with additional taxes and a $199 document fee, totaling $285.84. While I don’t question the validity of these charges, I did not agree to pay anything more than the $28.5k. Omar tried revoke the out-the-door price of $28.5k stating again that Nadia “didn’t have the authority to give me that price” After very strong negotiations and both of us threatening to cancel the deal, Omar agreed to honor the $28.5k for the second time during this transaction. Omar used high pressure sales tactics, stating he would lose his job if he honored the $28.5 out-the-door price and that Absolute Hyundai was losing $3000.00 on this sale. He also got angry with me and tried to use his age to lecture me about questioning his integrity EVEN THOUGH he wouldn’t believe me that Nadia and I agreed on an out-the-door price of $28.5k. Finally the paperwork was done. But now they are telling me that the person who handles the 30 day temporary tags was not there and they can only give me a 7 day tag which expired on June 9th, 2012(yesterday). They told me not to worry because they would mail the 30 day tag on Monday June 4th. I have NOT received this tag. Ok, so now I am driving home. To my surprise the Cruise Control will NOT engage. Keep in mind this is a Certified Pre-owned vehicle. Neither the loose trim nor the inoperative cruise control were disclosed to me. Other than that, my drive home was UN-eventful and I arrived home at 3AM!! June 3, 2012 at approximately 12:00pm I walked into my garage, well my wife did, to discover that hydraulic fluid had leaked from the Genesis all over the floor. This included the fluid surrounding and soaking into an IKEA nightstand box which laid in it’s original packaging on the floor. I immediately moved the nightstand and other furniture boxes out of the way and opened the box soaked in transmission fluid. I was able to wipe the pieces of wood off and there was not any damage done. At this point, I called Hyundai Warranty because I was under the assumption the car was defective. Keep in mind my drive home was UN-eventful so I had no reason to suspect damage. After speaking with Hyundai Warranty at the corporate office I did some further investigating. I used my iPhone to take pictures of the leaking fluid and that is when I discovered what looked like damage to the transmission pan and undercarriage. I texted Nadia immediately upon my suspicion of damage prior to my purchase. She did not reply until the next day. The vehicle was towed to a local Hyundai dealership, Patterson. June 4, 2012, I arrived at Patterson Hyundai. The service manager, Michael, brought me to my vehicle were two repair techs had my vehicle raised on a lift. Both repair techs agreed that the extent of the damage was great enough the driver would have heard and/or felt it when it occurred which leads me to believe the damage had occurred before my purchase. I informed the dealership of the situation and spoke with John Brown. Mr. Brown deny’s any responsibility for the damage by Absolute Hyundai. Even though I suspected foul play, I had no way to prove the damage occurred prior to my purchase and had to make a claim with my insurance company. In addition to the damage, Absolute Hyundai could not figure out how to handle my out-of-state title and registrations since I was receiving a military exemption for sales tax. I gave John Brown all the information of the Deputy Tax Collector, as I had tried to get all the documentation for the out-of-state titling and registration prior to the vehicle purchase. Later that day I received another call about the paperwork from Joe Garcia. Mr. Garcia was very condescending and rude from the very beginning of the conversation. I tried to explain the stipulation in the Service Member’s Civil Relief act about the military exemption but he replied with attitude stating, “I was in the marines for 8 years and I never heard anything like this”. Later, Mr. Garcia found out that I was indeed correct however I never received a phone call or email apologizing for how I was treated. There were many other phone calls as the week went on. Currently, Absolute Hyundai has failed to mail me my temporary tag, failed to assist me in getting my vehicle fixed, and has yet to give me the documentation proving the car is Certified Pre-owed as stated in an email from Nadia Yruegas. BUYERS BEWARE!!
Horrible experience. Dominic was great…but then we got to talking turkey and the price of the car actually went up…then they wanted to discount my son’s AirCheck voucher to $2,000. to reduce the car price by $1500. which was still $1,000 over the advertised price… they would “eat” the fee if we agreed to take only $2000 for the voucher for which the state guarantees $3000. My son, is a first time car buyer and the sales manager, Chris, tried to tell us that the bank was charging him a $2000 fee for the privilege of financing him…and that was before the rest of the deal was discussed. He seemingly had no idea how the AirCheck voucher worked or thought we didn’t- claimed they would get $500 for the trade in at the salvage yard and that is all our trade-in was worth despite the fact I pointed out they were obligated to salvage the car at no cost to the salvage yard and the $3000 served as the trade-in value…and they are supposed to attend a workshop to participate in the program. Absolute horror!!
I just took my sonata in for service and worked with Tracie she was awesome! Didnt keep me waiting and got my maintanace done under price and right on time not to mention she always keeps me informed on whats going on with my car thats why I always come to her. See Tracie in service.
I had a totally wonderful experience at Absolute Hyundai in Mesquite, TX. Jerry spent as much time with me as I needed. He answered all my questions and concerns. Everyone at Absolute Hyundai treated me with concern and consideration. I am extremely happy with my Elantra and with Absolute Hyundai!
We have bought numerous cars in our lives; this was without equal the best experience ever. Really, totally, super nice people. and honest. I will go to Hyundai, and this dealership, first every time I buy a car from now on. And we will go to them for service. and just as my sales guy told me – I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My service consultant was fabulous!!! While my car is in the dealership, he kept me advised of any issues and my car’s progress. I really appreciated this last service as my car was washed!!! A nice touch.
It was a pleasure doing business with Absolute Hyundai; they treated me like a VIP customer!
I receive phenomenal service from Mike and the staff each time I visit Absolute Hyundai. You guys do great work! Thanks!
When I purchased my Hyundai Sonata in July last year I thought Absolute Hyundai staff were wonderful. However, after going to another Hyundai dealership and comparing their service to yours there is no question… YOU ARE THE BEST!!! I had to tell every other person in my practice as well as my immediate family the story. The short version is that my issues were minimized and I was made to feel like I didn’t know my own car at another dealership however, at Absolute my issues were legitimized and I was congratulated for bringing them to the attention for the Service Department. Additionally, my car was washed while I waited and the oil topped off at no charge. In the service industry so many people forget about the impact of good customer service. It’s good to know that it is practiced at Absolute Hyundai. I will be a Hyundai owner for life and Absolute will always be me and my family’s dealership.
Meeting with Dave was our pleasure… I cannot imagine being better taken care of as everyone, you especially, was so nice and easy-going, yet professional to a tee… I’d like to send many people your way so they can get an experience as I did!
I traveled over 75 miles to do business with Absolute Hyundai in Mesquite when there is another Hyundai dealership (won’t mention any names) a couple blocks from where I live. I really love the honest salespeople they have working for them which make the drive well worth it. We negotiated a great price on a really good car. I am a happy customer and would strongly recommend buying from this dealership. Awesome job by Absolute Hyundai! 😀
My husband and I just had a great experience at Absolute Hyundai in Mesquite, and we are so happy with our new Veracruz! We had been in the market for months for a new SUV. Last Winter when it snowed here, I got into a minor wreck in my Mitsubishi. Frankly, when we got the car fixed after the wreck, it never seemed the same. So we started looking for a new SUV. It turned out that the Hyundai Veracruz was the perfect SUV for us and our kids…except that we kept running into bad dealers when we wanted to buy! Games Galore! My boss purchased a Hyundai Genesis at Absolute Hyundai and told me to go check them out. Obviously we did and we purchased our new SUV there. Very strong recommendation!
Ok, I had a little trouble finding this place, and maybe I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but other than that, this is about the very best experience I have ever had buying a new car. It was easy. They were nice and did not try to play any stupid games. They gave me a very great price and I did not leave there feeling like I got jacked over! Thanks Absolute Hyundai for NOT being like every other dealer in town!:D
I don’t know very many dealers that do business the old fashion way anymore. But these guys are very friendly, helpful, and willing to work out deals with you. I went in a couple of days ago and bought me a 2007 Cadillac Escalade for a much better price than ANYONE out there. 😀
I went to so many dealers and I can’t rave about this dealership enough. The fact that they had so much to choose from was a major plus. I definitely feel taken care of and happy with my purchase:)
