Honesty is the best policy.. O’Daniel Honda acted unethically and take advantage a woman minority who walk-in with a lot of respect and trust them.. Came in to buy a car hoping that what I’m buying had no history of an accident yet you turn around the car was over price also have been into 4 accident that did not disclose when ask upfront. I will never recommend O’Daniel and never do business with crook like them to make money and take advantage people that want to do good business with them..
I was having a problem with the engine cycling between fast and slow rpm’s when on idle in park, and the engine light had turned on. They determined that there was a defective part that needed to be replaced that controlled the idle speed, but they were unable to get the part in until the next day. They also diagnosed leaky seals that were allowing oil to seep into the spark plugs and the wrong type of spark plugs during this inspection. I authorized the part to be ordered and to replace the leaky seals.
The next day after the parts were installed, the engine light came on and the problem was still occuring. So, I brought the car back in, and this time they noticed antifreeze was leaking from the engine block. So, they told me that the leaky antifreeze will cause the new part they installed to malfunction because it is having problem sensing. The problem with the antifreeze leaking has been occuring for 6 months now, but I have only had this problem for a month. And, the new part didn’t fix it.
So, my question is, why didn’t they notice the antifreeze problem when they did the inspection the first time? They noticed all these other problems, but not the antifreeze leak? They sensor didn’t need to be replaced, so it was a waste of my money and time.
Beware, this service station obviously doesn’t know what it is doing sometimes and may incorrectly diagnose your vehicle’s problem.
They just could not fix my car. Keep telling them the problems which I came to know after few weeks from buying from them. But they say that they could not fix it for me. So I would not recommend anyone from buying a car from them. And it would be the last time, that I got a car from them again.
will sure never buy car from dishonest car salesman.
We had a 2006 Honda to trade for a 2010 Honda. We checked all Kelly Blue Book values for both SUV’s and researched comparable pricing online. This purchase was our third new vehicle from O’Daniel Honda of Omaha. We intentionally chose to buy from this dealership due to pleasant prior experiences with both their sales team and service department. There is zero pressure to buy and minimal negotiating to close the deal. Based on our prior research we feel we received an extremely fair and honest purchase from Joe, Jim and Chris. We would not hesitate to recommend O’Daniel Honda of Omaha to our friends and family. P.S. We LOVE our new Honda inside and out.

Didn’t stand behind their Certified cars. Would barely even listen to me before they went on the offense against me. I will be contacting the BBB and Honda Corporate.
Well we found a car online that we wanted to buy. We talked to a sells person who would never call us back, time and time again. He also promised a lot about the car that was not true. We drove 7 hours to see the car. When we got there our sellsman came out stood around for a bit then offered to let us drive we said yes. THIRTY MIN later I went in to the office to find our guy sitting on his butt at his desk drinking coffee. I asked him if we could get the keys and he said yes. Then it took a Couple hours to answer ONE questions about the car. We didn’t even start in about the fact that they put us off a week coming to see the car b/c they were suppose to fix two big scratches, and only ONE was fixed. The whole time we were there we kept having to ask people to get our lazy sells person away from his chair and come answer question. It was a little hot outside but my two year old handled it just fine. I even went to the GM and asked him to give my husband and I a little help. Which we had already talked to b/4 we knew he was the gm and he never acted like he cared. We were complaning about our situations and he just said “WELL” *WHAT* We had been there for hours and were getting extremely upset with the service. The GM DIDN’t DO ANYTHING! He tip-toed around us and didn’t change anything. What happen to the customer is always right??! I have worked with customers that were extremely annoying but I treated them just as good as I treat my family. We spend 300.00 just to get up there and then were treated like crap!!! UNACCEPTABLE! We had to go and get help, ask people to help us on answering questions, getting keys, asking for info on the car. Which my husband told the salesman we wanted to see when we got there! It was by far the worst car dealership we have ever went to. My husband and father-n-law waited an hour to get a technician out there to answer question. Which we asked for a dozen time. It was not rocket science we had questions about the vehicle and couldn’t get a sells person to stay around us long enough to ask where the bathrooms were.-we all had showers that morning:)- Oh and when my husband went to test drive it he had to put gas in it b/c it was empty. He put ten dollars in it and then when he asked for the reimbursement our sells guy through a fit about it. We had a cashiers check made out for the full about which really made me question the dealership. With a little bit of work we could have been out of there in no time. I know for a fact the dealerships around here clock to you and if you have you check ready to buy a vehicle they are waiting on you hand and foot to make the sell! I made a comment to the GM which he twisted later.(Real noble guy!) But I told him that “we were very disappointed in the way we were being treated and that my husband was about ready to walk and I told him that most car salesmen pay more attention and wait on there customers more! I mean it is sad to say but they usually do a little bit of butt kissing when they want to make a sell and nobody there was even trying to sell us the car. We couldn’t get any help.” He then later made it out that I was wanting them to kiss our butts. That was not the case unless that is what you call SERVICES. Then yes we wanted major butt kissing! After waiting all morning we finally thought that through all the phone calls we made to get answers that we were probably getting a good deal. Or so we though. We waited on the finance guy for a while to get the paperwork started. While we were in there he could tell I was ticked and asked about what we went through. After just a few comments he said that he was sorry that he understood us. HE appologized which should have came from the GM & our salesman!!!!!!!!!! MAYBE he knew how to do the whole butt kissing thing or he was being genuine. Either way he was nicer than the GM or our sells guy. We talked about the problems we had on the car and told him that we did not want to leave the parking lot and have tons of things wrong with the car. He assured us that if we left that he knows how great the GM was and that he would stand behind the car. NOT TRUE!!!!!!!! I am not talking about months or even wks later I wanted to know that before we left town. They tip-toed around everything and we were from out of town we had questions that still had not been answered!!! While we were in there that is when our sells guy showed up (without us having to go get him) and my husband mentioned the 10 dollars for gas and he started saying that he had already filled it up and we said look at the receipt look at the time….WE had to put gas in it when we took it for a test drive~! A-whole! it wasn’t until the finance guy told him to get the money was he going to back down. The GM came in later and told us if we didn’t want the car that was fine that they don’t make anyone buy. DUH! But making someone buy and trying to sell them a good vehicle are two different things. I mean we didn’t get any type of respect. Our sells person didn’t even say hi or how was your trip up here, or even thanked us for coming such a great distance. So we waited and waited and waited. I finally got tired of waiting my 2year old was past hungry :(and I didn’t know getting us ten dollars would take 20min. So I walked back inside to find our sellsmand bad talking us about the ten dollars. PO’D is all I have to say. I asked him how long it was going to take to get us our money. He walked past me all sly and went to the back and grabed a ten and handed it to me. I have never in my life been treated like dirt like that and wish soooo badly we wouldn’t have bought the vehicle I would have rather paid twice as much for decent human being. Anyways….trip home…not 50 miles away and the check engine light comes on, can’t shift into second. My husband calls and all the GM has to say is that it is a used vehicle and that we are going to have to get it fixed. WHAT!!!! We get home and took it to our dealership 25 tags on this vehicle of problems it has, not to mention that there are clutch problems that we asked about and they told us that it was fixed and good as new. LIARS!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER NEVER EVER again would we do anytype of business with them!!!
Thanks. Your review really helped me. I went to get a car from there and got the same experience. I would also not recommend anyone to buy a car from them.
Planning to picket out side O’Daniel… They are big LIARs!!!
