I have a warranty above the manufacturer’s. Doc Whitmore told my warranty company that my timing Chain on my 2005 SE-R is bad. He hasn’t even seen the timing Chain in my car. I’m not positive but I believe my car has a belt not a chain anyway. The vehicle was towed to Capitol Expressway Nissan. Doc Whitmore was told to R&R the transmission only.
I have learned from a reliable source the timing belt, or chain guides eat sh_t at approximately 55,000 miles on the Altima’s. This is a service campaign that Nissan should pay attention to. I am going to create a Web Site and see how many other Altima owners have had to pay for this timing repair on their own!!!!! I love my SE-R it is the best vehicle I have ever driven, but your service writer’s seem to be greedy, and deceitful. They know what service campaign’s are in affect, they also talk to the technician’s who do these repairs regularly.
To try to exstort money from my personal warranty company, that I paid for myself is inexcusable and unacceptable.

I have had my car serviced at Premier Nissan for over three years with Doc Whitmore. Not once has Doc steered me down the wrong road with the repairs needed for my Nissan. Honest as the day is long. Never over charging me!! Doc ALWAYS treats me with respect and REALLY cares for my family and me re our Nissan. Reading this broken story from this guys review, I would have to say he needs to do the proper research and get the correct advice. Doc Whitmore is a Stand up guy. knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy.
