A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE! DON’T buy any PRE-OWNED cars from this dealership. I purchased a used BMW 550i with fairly low miles from here and the car had transmission failure warnings and would not go into reverse just days after purchasing it. I took the car to their affiliate Nalley BMW to be diagnosed and they said the car is leaking fluids from five different locations! The repair bill is $6500.00 and this does not include the $8700.00 for the probable transmission replacement. That totals $15,200 in repair costs for a vehicle that cost around 20k! I contacted general manager Paula McCannon . She said that Nalley BMW is exaggerating the leaks on the car and the transmission, although it won’t go into reverse is fine.
In short, the reason why Nalley Audi North did not fix the car is because their technicians are not capable! Instead of paying the money to outsource the needed repairs for BMWs, Infiniti,Volvo etc, they push the cars out onto the sales floor, claiming to stand behind some 15-point safety inspection. They knew about all the problems this car had. This is why they lied about telling me that the leaks were there in the first place. As if I would actually buy a car with leaks coming from the engine, transmission, vacuum pump, alternator housing gasket and the upper timing cover.
The GM Paula will probably get up here and leave some generic response about how they worked to solve this problem or that they told me about the problems in the first place. ALL LIES! It is as if they are missing the the larger problem. Whether they told me about the leaks or not, why would a reputable dealer be so comfortable selling a customer a car with so many problems?
Be patient and look elsewhere, Audi North it is not worth the frustration. They tell too many lies and make too many mistakes. The GM did nothing but dodge my emails and calls. To the point where I had to contact the regional manager Casey Coffey about the matter. No one wants to take responsibility for selling me this problematic car. Nothing has been done yet.
By far the worst dealer I have ever been to. My car runs worse now than I brought it in. Grease prints on the dash, headlights dont work. I am taking it to another dealer. Dont take your cars to Nalley. They will rip you off and tell you it is not coverd by warranty. Their prices are higher than most dealers of the same brand and thier managers do not know how to handle customers.
My car had a timming belt and it broke. i took my car to the dealer at nalley and although my car is under full waranty the Manager, Matt hamby , who is a punk kid in my opinion, refused to pay for the repairs and said he would only pay for the belt and not anything else that it may have damaged.
I called Audi of nort America and they had my car towed to Jim Ellis Audi and replaced the engine with a new one at no charge. I spoke to the service rep at Jim ellis and was told that Nalley had a lot of trouble since Matt hamby had been there and Audi of America was aware of the situation.
I will never take my cars to any Nally dealershipin atlanta and I urge all Audi owners to avoid Nalley Audi and pet up forums to boycott that dealership.
