Beaver ton Kia
Worst experience, misleading, up sales, forced extra cost, false advertising, not willing to take care of the customer. They just want money off of you. They followed me outside after I said I don’t want to do anything sense they weren’t going to do the deal they advertised. And continued to harass me. After I finally got them to stop harassing me outside of the dealership on public sidewalk and was able leave they continued to contact me on my phone. Don’t go here unless you want To get ripped off and Harassed and waste your time.
In Beaverton there are alot of dealerships that are actually linked. Beaverton Honda and Beaverton Kia are actually owned by the same people. We got screwed by both Honda and Kia.
First we went to Honda. We wanted to test drive the Fit. They wanted to charge us 19,ooo on a car that I could’ve gotten anywhere else for msrp of 16,000. They said they couldn’t budge the price at all. Yea right.
So we went down to their Kia dealership to look at some of their used cars. We found a car we liked, that we thought wasn’t too bad a mark up and that our bank would actually finance us for. 10,000 for a car that had 100,000 miles on it. We were sick of shopping so we decided to just take it. We didn’t bicker on the price at all and we actually signed the paperwork. We had a tough time even doing that though. They kept forgetting the options we didnt want and saying that we had actually said we wanted them. Twice they forgot to take a thousand dollar option off when they printed off the paperwork for us to sign. And then we found out that when they said GAP insurance was “included” that meant included in the price. Ding, another five hundred in their pocket.
It took forever to get through financing, they kept asking for more money down, we actually ended up just calling our bank. Our bank said sure heres ten grand no money down. Just like that, I don’t know what the big deal was. They also promised us 4.5 new buyer interest for only five hundred down. Nope, got the paperwork it said 15. Then they wouldn’t give us our five hundred back without proof that theyd actually cashed it! You think they would know something like that..
And the kicker, we get the car home. We’ve signed the paperwork. We’re pissed but we’ve got our car. They say bring it in next day to get it detailed and some things on it fixed tires etc..
We give them the keys and never see our car again. I guess they screwed another lady and her deal bounced and her trade in was the car we were buying so they had to give it back. Our insurance information was still in the friggin glove box!!!
She called us to say they hadn’t actually fixed anything and the little problem with the car was actually something shed taken it to the shop to get it appraised for. 1200 to fix!
We go to the dealership, and they try to get us to sign for another car! They say they have the exact same car on another lot in a different state! Bull! I’m not buying something without seeing it! And they never apologized! They acted like we screwed them. Saying well, theyd already started to ship the car down.. BULL! They didnt even want to give us a ride home when we returned their loner car.
And we saw the paperwork on their desk for what they had bought the tradein for. 5000! They tried to make 5000 off us! They tried to sell us a car for ten when they bought it for 5! And they said they didnt have any room to lower the price!
Save yourself the trouble and dont even step foot on their lot! Unless you bring a lawyer!
I purchased my used 2007 Xterra there listed as an SE. We were concerned when we purchased it that there was no SE on the back but they told us that it was an SE and maybe the parts had just been taken off. After doing research after we got home with the car, we found that it was not an SE. It was an S with some upgrades so it looked like the SE, but did not have things that were standard on the SE like fog lights, leather steering wheel, sunglass holder, lighted vanity mirrors, and more. We went back in the next day to finish paperwork and complained about this. We were able to negotiate getting them to install fog lights (most important feature of SE that we wanted) and knocking $500 off the price. We were told someone would call us when the fog lights were in for install. We took the car in for the fog lights and they installed aftermarket, not factory lights, which would be ok except that the way the button to turn on the lights doesn’t fit the panel where they are supposed to go so they just stuck the switch on with sticky tape that had fallen off by the time I got home. So basically I have this switch that is just hanging off my car panel. Also, the lights are reversed so the green light means they are off and the red light means they are on (it took people constantly flashing us to realize this). The paperwork for service says “if you don’t think you’ll give us a 10 on the survey, call … Your satifaction is our number one priority” I called the number twice and sent a fax. I have not received a call back. Today I realized that the payoff amount they were supposed to pay for my trade in was different than the contract so they owe me $421. However, I have made 2 phone calls to talk to someone and again no call back. The service is terrible. I will never use them again.
Internet Sales would not match price received from another dealer. Once informed of the (sizable) difference and offered another opportunity to be more competitive this location responded with derogatory statements (emails) regarding competitors. Other competitors thanked me for my inquiry and wished me the best with my purchase.
I did not appreciate the unprofessional responses.
