Bought a used car and just found out it needs a new A/C compressor. The service person told me that they wouldn’t help me with replacing it because I took one month to report it to them, when in fact it took them one month to find a day when I could bring the car in for some other minor repairs.
Don’t buy from them.
I was sold a car with a stock nav system. 6 months later I started having issues. I brought it into the deal to get it fixed under my bumper to bumper. To make a very long story short as it turns out it was not a stock nav unit – but just made to look like one. After 8 months and trying to get my car fixed I finally got the only deal they would give to me – they would pay 1/2 of a similar stereo at car toys. Come to find out that similar did not mean all the same features or size. I got badly screwed from this dealer. Go anywhere else but here for your car needs. I would not go back to pick up a free car. The fix was just as shady as the look alike system in the first place. If you use this dealer after reading this post you’ve got no one to blame but yourself for any issues.
We are a small family owned and oprerated dealership. When this vehicle was purchased it was purchased as a vehicle with Navigation. 6 months after this gentleman purchased this vehicle he brought it back to us with stereo issues. He bought this vehicle AS IS. We worked with him for months to try to come to a middle ground. We paid $1000 for this genleman stereo so that he would not have to pay the full amount out of pocket. Us as dealers are not responsible for issues with a vehicle 6 months after it is purchased. We did every thing in our power to help this customer.

The size of your business should not determine the size of your service. My issues is not the “as is” part, my issue is the misinformation on your end and not taking care of your mistake. My issue is that you sold me a car with a stock navigation. All your paperwork on the car said it was stock and it looks so much like a stock stereo that it took months to find out that it was not stock. I paid for a stock navigation stereo. As it turns out, you were wrong and it was after market. The correct thing would have been to say “I’m sorry you we sold you a car that does not have the parts in it that we say it does. We’ll get you what you paid for.” Instead you said “we’ll pay for 1/2 of a comparable system (which in your world does not mean has everything that the old system had as I came to find out) and you must use our business partners.” To add insult to injury I just had to go back to your business partners because they forgot to install the Ipod cord. I just hope that my posting to this site and others serves as a word of caution to other people who expect a certain level of service from the people that they choose to do business with.
