When someone FINALLY contacted me after several internet inquiries, he sent me an application; filled it out and sent it in, and it was still 2 more days before anyone contacted me. Finally got a deal worked out, and decided to sleep on it; I called the next morning to say I would be in to purchase the vehicle, and when I got there, a different finance guy was helping me, and the terms were different. The sales manager would not show his face, even though he knew the deal we made the night before. This is the shadiest car dealership I’ve ever dealt with, and I’ve bought a lot of cars in my lifetime.
I found this dealership on buyingcarsherway.com. I wanted to work with a women. Johnnie was knowledgeable, kind and patient. I met the General Sales Manager Lisa, also a woman!!! Mr Maxwell, I can tell you this I will be back and I am telling all the ladies that Nyle Maxwell is an awesome car dealer!!!!:p
The best experience ever! they made it so easy and fun.To think that I taught that I was not going to get approved for a car loan. I left in a new car with 8% apr that I do not think I deserve. They did it and I am loving it!!!The internet department and the finance department are GREAT!!!
I am single mom and needed a car for my oldest doughter.I found a crv on their web site, so I email that I was interested in it. I got a call from the director of the internet department to confirm my email and told me that it was available. When I got there he was waiting for me and had the crv ready to drive. My doughter love it! I told him that I heated going back and forth and that I did not like to play games so he made a very good deal was very honest so I got it! No pressure no gimmicks just good service! definetly I would strongly recomend to shop there and do it on the internet!!!They are great!
I found a 2500 truck with 5.9 diesel engine perfect for what I have been looking for. So got on the phone and call I live in Houston I need it to do everything by e-mail and phone and I also had a trade in. Robert answer and confirmed that the truck was available and I told him about my dually with 150k that I took very good car of. I had it look at in Houston they told me that it was worth 10,000 aprox. So Robert took my word for it and the deal was done. No BS just staight up the truck was ready by the time I made it in from Houston was exactly how it was decribed to me and I was in and out back to Houston in my new used truck. If you are looking for good service and a good used vehicle go there this people now what there are doing.
Is there any way to rate below 1 star? We bought a heavy duty Dodge pick up in July and are still getting the run around. Phone calls & e-mails are never returned. The truck was damaged (tail gate & bumper) during transit, but we were assured that this would be taken care of. Here we are, about to start the month of October…it still has not been handled. We were also promised a spray in bed liner. Due to the fact that we live outside of Houston, we were told to get estimates for the liner here. Those estimates were e-mailed to the sales person, then to the sales manager, and finally to the general manager several times…finally we we received a check this week (it is the end of September), only because we finally went to “the 2nd in charge”. Lisa seems to be on her game and can actually get something accomplished around there. I believe if you spend $60,000 on a vehicle (or any amount for that matter) that the things promised to the customer should actually be followed through on IN A TIMELY MANNER. I can tell you, I will NEVER do any business with this dealership again.
I was told several times that I was approved, “Don’t worry!” ;);) I explained I was leaving the next day for Michigan. “No problem!” While in MI I was called several times on my cell phone and the stern voice on my voicemail informed me that I had to return the truck, “Today, because your credit is not good enough for approval…”
I’ve sold cars(#1 in Sales, quit when they pressured me to lie), so I was aware that another $1,000.00 or so down would make the the bank feel better. That’s what happened.
I asked how much more, and was told $2,000.00, which I sent them. # years later they did the same thing to my Bro. in Law. 1 year later, they tried to do it to his stepson, and I was able to warn him in time that it is a scam they practice, because the banks reward them when they get more money up front. Once he mentioned that his lawyer would call them back to discuss the details, the salesperson said, “Let me check again with my manager.” Whaddayaknow? They did NOT have to have $1,000’s more! Suddenly they could work with what he’d given them. This is illegal! Maxwell Dodge’s Sales Dept. is deceptive! When I took the truck for service, I waited outside for 10 minutes while the guys inside jawed around. I finally went in, only to be ignored for another 5 minutes, while they finished telling guy stories.
What a dealership! I took my truck elsewhere for ALL of my service.
Very stressful, pressure filled buying experience. Definitely will not go through this dealership again. Had to go to the top (Director of Finance) to finalize the deal – horrors!
what are the horrors?
