Was a great experience through and through. I bought an S2000 from them last week and had the easiest time buying a car yet. I drove 4 hours from Maine in the hopes that Jason described the car accurately. When I got there It was everthing they described. Less than an hour later I was back on the highway driving my new car home.
I bought Honda pilot 2012 last weekend at Liberty Honda,my sales man was Andrew Almieda,he was extremely professional and courteous,helped me negotiated a good deal,I would highly recommend him and this Dealership in CT area,Andrew along with the managers made my whole process very smooth.
Ben Ryan and Rich White demonstrated a profesional and business-like approach to my request for a competative bid on my vehicle of choice, a 2011 CRV. They produced the lowest bid coupled with a bonus service package that won my business. The delivery of the vehicle was handled in like manner with no pressure push for add-ons. Rich gave my wife and I a comprehensive walk through of the vehicle making sure we understood the features and operation. He also gave us a tour and overview of their service department. Buying a new car is a huge expense often accompanied with equale levels of anxiety. All we want is a fair deal and to be treated with respect by business professionals. Liberty Honda delivered.

I very much enjoyed working with Tony Mufano who sold me my 2011 CRV- I first contacted Liberty honda via the internet and was well treated by Jason on the phone and with follow up calls as well as on Site when I visited -Brittany was great in financing as well- My only negatives were the low stock on hand- no one’s fault- ie the earthquake in Japan – however I was told on the phone and in person there were 40or 50 CRV’s on the lot by Jason and again to my face when I was there to do business and there were 2 CRV’s- both sold -however having said this Liberty did get me exactly what I wanted within a matter of 3 days – again despite being told I would have it in one day- maybe 2 at the latest, – I got my car 3 days later -this again was no one’s fault however it does not bode well with customers to promise things when you realistically can’t- most people are understanding of situations like Japan however when you are being told one thing and it does not happen it is disappointing – I would suggest Liberty explain up front their limitations in this market because in the end they did deliver what I wanted and this was no small accomplishment- Again Tony was great to work with- low key, informative, polite and pleasant to deal with- would recommend him to others- Karen S
I first made contact with Liberty through Bj’s Wholesale Club’s car buying service. When I shopped the internet for the best price on a used Odyssey, Liberty Honda had the most competitive pricing.
Every employee at the dealership was courteous and helpful. When asked a question that Kevin wasn’t sure of the answer, he said that he would check…(has this car ever been in an accident?) At no time was there any pressure. I am very happy with this car buying experience!

My wife and I have purchased many vehicles in our lifetime, I can say that the purchase we made at Lberty Honda was one of the most enjoyable auto purchases that we have made.
The salesman was great, he honestly answered questions or got answers. He never pressured us to buy “now”. He honestly pointed out the “pluses and minus’s” of each car we looked at. We ended up buying a new Honda Insight (hybrid).
We went to a larger dealership for Honda in Manchester, Ct.
first and found that the sales at this dealership spent many minutes berating Liberty Honda. This immediately turned us off to this dealer, and obviously they were to busy promoting themselves as a wonderful dealership.
In fact the Liberty Honda dealership was so good that we went back the very next day and purchased a second new vehicle. The second being the new Honda CRZ hybrid.
This is a great dealership top to bottom. Try them you will not be disappointed.
I purchased a Honda Insight from Liberty Honda. My salesperson was Anthony Munafo. What a terrific experience. Their dealership is well-established, professional, and non-pressured. Their staff from the receptionist to the sales manager is respectful and friendly. The day after I purchased my Insight, my wife went back and purchased a Honda CRZ.

People say to me that I’m crazy to drive all the way to Hartford for an oil change at Liberty Honda. Let me tell you why I make the (almost) hour long trip: My husband died in 2009 & I’m a relatively young widow. My husband took care of all our car problems & upkeep, so I’m a neophyte to the auto world. Because of my trusting nature, I’ve been taken advantage of in business dealings since the death & have become wary of anything to do with $. I’m a night shift nurse at a city hospital 27 mi from my home and travel the highway in all weather. My car MUST be dependable. Making the trip to Hartford from Woodbury is worth every penny of gas b/c I know I won’t have to worry about not getting to work at 11 pm in a blizzard. Andrew Bialkowski is an outstanding employee! He is personable, efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. He never treated me as a customer, but, rather as a returning “Honda family member.” Please recognize his abilities and know that when I buy my next car it WILL be from Liberty. By the way, Danbury Hospital’s marketing campaign is “a higher level of care”. Well, Liberty certainly personifies that same slogan.

Overall our experience at this dealership was excellent. A big gold star goes out to our sales rep, Mr. Richard White. Liberty Honda should know that he is not your “typical” car salesman. Richard was courteous, respectful, curtoeus and very informative. Richard made us feel very comfortable and made our experience excellent. I’ve had many bad experiences with car dealerships but Richard made us feel cared about. Our purchase was an extremely smooth process. Richard made sure that we were informed about all of our options when buying a car from their dealership. Richard was even out in the parking lot going over everything in our new honda even though it was clear that the dealership was ready to close. He did not want to leave anything out. all my honda cars (my family has owned up to 8) have been serviced at liberty. Between Eric ANderson(salesman and Tammy Aho , service rep., all our need have always been met. James, a service rep. also, has always been more then willing to help me out when the others have a day off…Everyone greets you with a smile and “What can we do for you”….MY Car was recently in for body work(Bill was great to deal with also) and that was a postive experience also…MY thanks go to the Honda team at Liberty,inc. the parts dept.(who i also had to see).. Tammy Aho is an incredible service advisor. She knows all our Hondas (5) and helps us to care for them like they are her own. She always remembers to note the tire pressure before and after a service — which is something that is important to me. I know that when she says I need something done on one of our cars, it is because it is in our best interest. From the drivers, to the other advisors, to the management, Liberty Honda treats the customers with care and respect and makes them feel like family.
I truly appreciate the help I received from Liberty Honda’s team of experts. I traded in my 1999 Civic for a lease on the 2010 Accord and couldn’t have had a better experience. I also purchased the Civic at Liberty and had it serviced there according to Honda specifications. I’ve been a happy customer ever since.

I have had the worst experimemt with my new 2008 Honda Accord ex x…I purchased this case brand new and had more problems with this car then any other vehicle I have ever owned…Honda is the worse car I ever owned…. A piece of Shit and will never buy another Honda nor would I recommend anyone to purchase one…The leather seats had to be replace in less than a year after the color started to rub off.. Also, The Brakes has to be replace too soon on the car..its ridiculous and now my 6 disc cd changer stopped working and brought it to the dealer and need to wait a whole week to get my cd fix….This car is a piece of shit…….I cant not wait to get rid of it…..:mad::mad::mad::(:(
I can see why your upset with the company honda but how does your Honda concerns have to do with how your car buying experence through liberty went?
I purchased a new 2010 Honda Accord from Liberty Honda in Hartford, Connecticut in December, 2009.They fell all over themselves for my business when I paid cash for my new vehicle, however after that, they ignor you.
At 1700 miles my heater, highbeams and outside mirrors stopped working, I took it to Liberty to fix the problem. There should be no significant problem like this on a new car with 1700 miles. First they replaced a fuse as they saud it had blown. Drove of lot and everthing stopped working again. Turned around and returned. This time they replaced mirror switch and some other electrical device. Not good. I have contacted an attorney regarding Lemon Law because Liberty Honda as failed to reply to my repeated emails requesting a replacement vehicle. A WORD TO THE WISE, DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM LIBERTY HONDA, HARTFORD, YOU WILL REGRET THE SERVICE!:mad:
Brought my $20k+ Honda in for a special detailing service.
After I picked it up that evening, I noticed scratches on the trunk.
I immediately went to see Jay @ LH the next morning and explained the problem. He excused himself and went into another office. Five minutes later, he comes back with a form. The form had a diagram of a car with a big X on the trunk. :confused: Jay said before they started to detail my car, they “made note of the two scratches”

That’s okay what comes around goes around – Liberty Honda offended me and I am truly disgusted.
Buy and service your car elsewhere- there are plenty of other (Honda) dealerships to choose from…
