Best car buying experience I’ve ever had…. I will never buy a car any where else
I contacted John on the phone on his day off and he agreed to meet me at the dealership. When I got there, the truck was ready right up front. I had my son there with me and he was excited as could be. We went for a test drive and quickly went through the sales process. John was very enthusiastic and helpful. He took my son out and looked at some Mustangs while if was in the finance process. Overall, it was a stress free purchase. John was great. He was the fist salesperson I have ever dealt with that went over all of the safety features first before we even cranked the vehilce for the test drive. That tells me that he cares about people and cares about his job.
Purchased from Shreveport, LA and had the vehicle shipped to me. Streamlined efficient process. Great buying experience. The vehicle met my expectations.
I shopped online and Lance Cunningham Ford won the price war. After shopping everywhere around the area I bought my truck from Ben Nelson. I was a hard customer to deal with but he was very calm and helpful. He asked if I was happy with the deal and even gave me a full tank of gas. The deal was great and the service was the best. I even got to meet Lance Cunningham the company owner.
I bought this vehicle at this dealership 2 years ago and have been happy until now. I brought in my 05 Mustang GT with 80,000 miles to the service department for extended warranty problems. The problems consisted of some type of lifter problem on the right side of the engine that made the engine make a loud click. The engine other than that ran fine and no complaints to this point. The vehicle was returned to me with an erratic idle, idling between 1200 and 400 rpms, and a horrible engine shake at 2000 rpms. Jeremey had told me that the vehicle was test driven. I drove the vehicle home and the engine stopped 2 times on me. I returned it the next morning and told Jeremey of the problems. He told me that the tech. mentioned the idle problem to him and had asked me if it was doing that when I brought it in. I assured him that it was not, he immediately told me it must need a new throttle body. I left the car on a Saturday and as of Monday at 4:00pm I had received no information regarding my vehicle. A phone call to the service department brought news that it indeed did need a throttle body and it was not covered under the extended warranty. I was also told that they could not fix the horrible engine vibration until the throttle body was replaced. I gave them a vehicle that had one lifter problem covered under warranty, they return it with two problems, not covered under warranty. I will take this further.
I made an appointment to have brakes replaced on my truck. I was there at 8am.
They told me that I could pick up the vehicle at noon, I show up, it’s not ready. After waiting for an hour and now late for work, I told them that I want the truck right now. They couldn’t find it! While the manager was fumbling with intercoms and telephones, I went and looked in the service bays, it wasn’t there. I finally found the truck in the back lot, unlocked the door and drove away. I think the truck was repaired early that morning and they made me wait for nothing. Here’s the worst part, They haven’t responded in any form to my complaints and comments.It’s like they just don’t care. Horrible customer service. I will never go to LC Ford again. I could not recommend them to anyone.
I have bought several trucks from Chuck over the past 7 years, not once have I had a single problem with the quality of service. Chuck spent about 3 hrs with me on Xmas eve up untill they closed, to get me into my newest purchas for the best price that he could. Never once in the past 7 years of dealing with Chuck did I feel HASSELED of PRESURE to buy anything. I would recomend Chuck, and Lance Cunningham Ford, to anyone in or around the Knoxville area looking for a new car puchase.
Our overall buying experience was exceptional. We were particularily impressed with Preston Williams. His knowledge and expertise was invaluable in assisting with our purchase.:)
