Complete lack of integrity. Absolute bait and switch on financing. Only reason I completed purchase was because I travelled from San Diego based on an agreed to deal that was documented – however that means nothing to this group of losers. If there was a minus rating on honesty they would earn it – across the board. Then after all of that, they try to send me on my way without the mats, stating they were not included until I showed them listed on the sticker. Absolute pros at bush league sales tactic. If you want a pleasant car buying experience – you need to go elsewhere. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
I took my Grand Cherokee in for a transmission problem. They told me it needed a new transmission for $3,800. My car has 76,000 miles and is barely worth $3,800.
I took it to AAMCO where they determined that it was a computer issue and fixed it for $500.
For your own sanity, do not go to La Brea Chysler Jeep for service! I bought my 2007 Jeep Liberty @ La Brea Chrysler Jeep, and getting service done there is like playing the game Risk; I’d never know what’s going to happen.
I brought my car last year for an oil change, and the car came back with dents on the hood….how is that possible? Do they have The Thing working there? The dings/dents were in the shape of someone’s fingers, I mean, how strong do you have to be to close a hood? Okay, so I thought maybe it’s me that caused the dent…so I let it go.
Then yesterday, after I brought my car home, I discover another dent!!! Another!!! And guess why I had drop my car off yesterday? Yep, for an oil change.
I went back and spoke with the service manager, he said that the dent was not of their doing, I should’ve checked the car before I drove off the lot. So it’s my fault?!?!? I went straight home after I left the dealership yesterday, I didn’t even touch the hood! So was it done by some sort of elfs in the middle of night? I shudder to think…I hate those dang elfs!!!
So, for your sanity and a peace of mind, do not go to La Brea Chrysler Jeep, EVER!
