My air conditioning was no longer blowing cold air. After Kiefer inspected my car, they said the condenser had a crack in it and was likely caused by a rock. The ac compressor was locked up as well. They said due to a rock causing the damage, my extended warranty would not cover it. They suggested I file a claim with my insurance and take it to an auto body shop. I paid my $50 deductible and they found no damage to the condenser. The ac compressor belt was missing as well. Next I took it to Power Mazda in Salem and they found no damage to the condenser. I had to wait 2 days for a warranty inspector to check it out. They agreed to cover the compressor but I would have to pay for belts and the labor since the belts were missing. In total, I spent around $350 to have this fixed all because Kiefer misdiagnosed the problem. I called the service manager at Kiefer and explained everything that happened and I was asking for compensation. He flat out told me he was not going to compensate me for any of it. This person was rude and a jackass. Total unprofessional. I am not finished with this and will not stop until I get compensated.
My friend just bought a used car there. The moment he pulled off the lot the speedometer stopped working. He went back and they told him it would cost him $2000 to fix. Stay away from this place!!!
I have worked in the automotive industry for over 35 years.As a matter a fact I work in a dealership right now. I have bought alot of cars from alot of dealers and been fed alot of BS and treated like Im stupid. From the momment I started dealing with Kiefer Mazda and there staff I was treated with nothing but respect and honesty. I have never seen a more profesionally run orginization in my career as a technician.I would recommend that anyone looking to purchase a car should take the time to talk to one of there sales staff. They are very knowledgable about there products. There service department is top notch and will be there to help you with your service needs. Thanks Kiefer Mazda!
Heading down to Kiefer Mazda I was thinking I was going to end driving away with something used , instead they were able to get me into a brand new Mazda 3 for the payment I wanted and an even lower interest rate! The sales staff was super friendly and enjoyable to work with. I couldn’t be happier!
The only thing positive I can say is that I was greeted as soon as I got there.
Went in to buy a new car.
Was quoted information and price for a car that was not even available. When I went to purchase my new car, the price increased by $2500 because of this “mistake”.
Listened to a lot of self-talk about how wonderful and honest my salesman thought he was.
They were disrespectful, sexist, and liars. I would never recommend them. 😡
