Beware of Kia of Bedford! My experience with them has been an absolute disaster, a masterclass in incompetence and deceit. Two months ago, I purchased a pre-owned car, paying in full, since I live in Michigan. They instructed me to pay the tax at my local DMV upon receiving the title. But guess what? The title turned into a mythical creature, never to be seen.
Twenty days passed, no title. I called, and they fed me a line about needing more time. Fast forward to 1.5 months later, and I’m on the verge of having an expired temporary tag with travel looming over me. I alerted them to this urgency, only to be hit with a bombshell – they now claim I can’t get the title because I hadn’t paid the tax, a complete 180 from our original agreement.
In a desperate attempt to resolve this, I paid the tax immediately. Did it help? Of course not! Three days later, I’m still empty-handed. Promises of scanned copies turned out to be nothing but hot air. Today, with my tag expiring tomorrow, their cavalier attitude hit a new low. “It’s your choice to drive with an expired plate; there’s nothing we can do,” they said. How’s that for customer service?
This isn’t just poor service; it’s a circus of incompetence and indifference. Kia of Bedford clearly has no clue about customer satisfaction or basic ethics. Their only skill seems to be in misleading and frustrating their customers. Do yourself a favor: avoid this dealership like the plague. They’re not in the business of selling cars; they’re in the business of creating nightmares.
