Humble ISD is leading Texas schools in raising alternative funds to offset lost state funding. The district signed a $350,000 contract with Parkway Family Mazda-Kia on April 27, giving the dealership the naming rights of the Turner Stadium field for 10 years. It will be officially called Parkway Family.com Field and while this practice is common in collegiate and professional sports, it is rare in the high school arena.
