Never in my life have I been so mistreated and cheated by a company. I purchased a $163,000 car from Keyes automotive (european) and had multiple problems immediately. I have made repeated attempts to contact managers, owners, and staff members to help reconcile the multiple problems but I have yet to receive any call back from any of them. The one and only person I have finally spoken with responded with “sue us…..we have lots of lawyers”. Keyes has also been over-charging me $1000.00 per month in finance fees which were never disclosed nor written in any contract whatsoever. I feel that I should let as many people as possible know how I am being treated and cheated so that you and they will know the capabilities of this atrocious company and their customer relation antics. BEWARE OF KEYES AUTO !!! ….. I am living proof that they will cheat you and mistreat you!
Wish I would have read reviews before getting ripped off and mistreated
Hopefully people will read these reviews before dealing with Keyes Auto. I cannot believe the awful treatment and thievery this business is getting away with.
The Keyes salesman agreed to a price for an Audi; just before my arrival to get car he called and said he made a mistake with amount of mileage and had to charge more. I called General Manager who apologized and said it was purely a mistake and offered me a similar deal. Because of his seeming sincerity and concern, I accepted. Before I went down the next day to get the car, I went over the deal with the GM point by point. He told me not to worry he would honor that deal. When I arrived at dealership, the finance guy told me he had to charge about $85 more per month – the General Manager was off. I got up and walked out. Hours later the GM called and said ” I heard that the deal fell apart, call me if you think there is something I can do to help.” Sleaze balls. Not only will I not buy from Keyes , but I have such a bad taste for Audi now and I will get a different car, not an Audi. Ughhh.
Unnecessary repairs (due to their errors including a turn signal stalk and a Tiptronic switch for $300 each. The cruise control switch went bad while they were fixing the airbag controller… under the dash next to the cruise control. The TipTronic switch failed while they were replacing the cam shaft tensioner seal… right near the electrical connector to the transmission. Odd, huh?), multiple wrong guesses (5 instrument clusters and a climate control computer to the tune of $1,500 not including multiple rental cars).
$5,000 in repairs during the last 2 years I owned the 5 year old car and wound up trading it in on a Lexus. The car had a Check Engine light and intermittant air conditioning.
I spent one morning a week at Keyes for almost 3 months and the best they could do was to become “too busy” to deal with me.
