We had a very pleasant experience. Both my husband and myself were looking for around 6 months for a ‘new to us’ car online and found Kerry’s website the easiest and most user friendly. We were able to find a car online that we liked and came in to test drive a couple. Dutch was very friendly, relaxed, honest, and extremely helpful. The cars that we were initially interested online did not hold up in person, but Dutch was able to pick up what we were wanting and recommended a car that I never would have tested or thought would like. His recommendation was spot on and we drove away with our new car. The financing was painless and they even found ways to help us save money and to afford a new car. The perks you get for buying a car there were also a pleasant surprise. I will definitely recommend this dealership to all my family and friends. Thank you Dutch for being awesome!
After buying new cars for 25 years this is the first dealership that I would even write a review for. They were as good as their word and went way out of the way to answer any and all my questions. They even had a free dinner for recent new car buyers and had their entire service staff there to demonstrate on their own cars how to operate anything that you had a question about. After the evening was over they gave us all hats, key chains and door prizes. This dealer knows how to treat buyers and I will surely go back for my next car.

My wife and I spent 6 months looking before buying my truck and after 50+ dealerships this was the easiest one to deal with. We had a pleasant experience and would recoment the dealership and especially our salesmane Micheal to others. My fiance went to this dealership to test drive a vehicle that we were thinking about buying. Chris Mitchell told her she could drive the car and bring it to me so I could drive it, and that she could “learn to love it”. He wanted her to leave her car there so they could run the numbers on it and give us a price for a trade in value. He took her phone number and information and they never gave her any time frame as to when she should return with the car.
We drove the vehicle for awhile and decided that we were going to purchase it, so we decided to return to the lot the next morning and make the trade. About 11PM I got a call from my work saying the police was there looking for my Fiance and that they are coming after her for stealing a car. I was obviously shocked, and I rushed home. When I got there the police were there questioning my fiance! The dealership said that they “lost” all her contact information and that they had no way to reach us.
The officer called the dealership and told him the situation and the manager STILL tried to make us a deal on the car!!!!! We told him there is no way we will be doing any business with him because he called the police on us for doing exactly what they asked us to do!!!! Chris Mitchell told my fiance “we aren’t going anywhere, just bring it back when you are ready to make a deal”.
I am still shocked that this situation happened. We were embarrassed at our home and at work by the police showing up and asking questions about us! If you are thinking about buying a car from this lot make sure you don’t test drive one, or they may say you stole it!!!
We are considering filing a civil suit for slander against the dealership and Chris Mitchell.
On behalf of everyone at Kerry Toyota, I sincerely apologize in regards to your finance’s recent experience with us. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction and we take that goal very seriously. Although we do allow overnight test drives, they are not common practice and require specific paperwork that is required by our insurance company. :mad::devil(We began our search comparing the Mazda 6, Ford Fusion and Toyota Camry. We priced all three and decided that we like the Camry and found the price very good. I spent the week calling around the other dealers in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati checking on their deals. No one was as low as Kerry Toyota in Florence. For good reason, they didn’t honor the price they wrote down. Another dealer warned me ahead of time that we would not get that car for the price they quoted, but I didn’t heed their warning. We went down to purchase the car with their original quote IN HAND. They then told us that the price they quoted was with the $750 cash back, NOT zero percent. This was the “misunderstanding” that made the deal fall through. Consequently, my wife explained to the guy 5 times during our talks that she didn’t want the $750, only the zero percent financing. When we pointed out that a dealer in Lexington had a similar deal on the internet, they came back with a new price that was more that if I had added the $750 to the original offer. I DON’T LIKE the GAME associated with purchasing cars. OBVIOUSLY, the associates at KERRY TOYOTA in FLORECE like to play this GAME. After calling Toyota, I was contacted by KERRY’s customer service manager and he apologized and said he was trying to change the way their salesmen deal with the customers. Well, good luck to him, I will not recommend anyone to purchase a car from Kerry Toyota. We drove down to Lexington and bought the car at Green’s Toyota. All done over the phone and the price was still the same when I got there.
Kerry Toyota refuses to fulfill their promise to refund cost of an extended waranty that was not used.
