Untrustworthy sales consultants who either misrepresent facts or knowingly provide false information, then when bring it to their attention they make light of it. Thereafter the dealership will tell you that its their right to make a profit. Even if they overcharge the customer, is that how they make a profit? Questionable business practice or thieves?
When I went to sign the papers for the car, the sales manager told me I had to purchse maintance package to get GAP insurance. So I bought it knowing how important that insurance is. It cost me a total of $5000.00 extra. I had not had the car a month before I started to notice the car smell of mildew. I was cleaning it out trying to find what the smell was, only to find the seats have spots of mold on them from someone leaving the sunroof open while it rained. Also found an air freshner under each seat. So I still have to go there for oil changes, the service department is rude and take forever. I don’t know how they are still in Business. Could this be why they changed thier name from Jim Lynch Toyota to Spirit Toyota? Don’t be fooled they are the same company with the same crappy service.
I recently contacted Spirit Toyota via the Internet. I was looking at purchasing a Rav-4. I was greeted by a crappy form letter, then by an uninformitive phone call. The dealership was just interested in getting me there to drive and work a deal. I wasn’t to that point yet. When I got to the dealership. I was looking for a specific Rav. After being told that I couldnt order or locate that RAV. I decieded to look other places. The salesman (KEN) was upset and pushy about working a deal at the dealership. I then believed Ken could order me a Rav, so we tried to work a deal. IT TOOK FOREVER to even get a price quote. Then some “Manager” named Mark tried to low ball me on my trade. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER…….WENT TO PAPPAS AND BOUGHT THE RAV I WAS LOOKING FOR “IN STOCK”.
BUY SOME OTHER PLACE THE SPIRIT TOYOTA.
