I bought my first car from Jim Coleman Toyota, I have been going their hoping dealers are better, however when I went to service my car, they recommended to replace some of the fluids, and some other things. I ended up paying over $600.00 dollars. I then too the car to a different mechanic to make sure they did the work. They haven’t changed or did any work on my car. I had to bring the car back to them and complained. They did some of the work. They are liars. They recommend you to change or replace things that don’t need to be replaced. Especially if you are a woman and don’t know much about cars. Don’t got to that dealership. They scam people. Not fair, I don’t know if it’s legal scamming people this way.
3 weeks of lies, wasted time, gas, phone calls, and time off work. Tried to see a used car could never see the used but they will sell you a new one. Tell you to come down for test drive then don’t know where the car is or they will call you back in 10 minutes NOT and if you call there will be no answer. Everything after Hello get in writing. THE WORST ! Martin hope your buddy likes the car.
I went twice for scheduled 5K and 10K maintenance. The first time they did not top up fluids as per their Scheduled service ‘A’ service and did not put correct tire pressures after rotaing tires.
The second service for 10k on Christmas eve after confirming the date. I got a cold treatment for showing up on Christmas eve. I told the ‘advisor’ Sou Phoubandith about the shortcomings in the first service. I got the car back in a record time of forty five minutes. I opened the hood to check the engine oil (I had previously noted the oil color prior to service) and noticed the oil color to be consistent with fresh oil. Sou informed me that the tire had been rotated and presures corrected. I believed him. Upon returning home I checked the tires in front as I had marked the rear tires at home by using a highlighter and marking two numbers on the tires and also marking the Toyota Logo on the tire rims. I was shocked to note that the front tires did not have the marked tires which was still on the rear tires denoting that no Tire rotation was done contrary to what was written in the invoice. I sent a email to the Service Manager Wanda explaing the poor service and she replied by asking me to send her the tire numbers. No apology or expression of remorse. Now I know why this dealership has the most complaints as mentioned on the web. I wonder how many others have been ripped off.
Super great service and outstanding service tech Jon Duncan.
I bought a 2010 Prius from Brown Toyota in northern Maryland. When I took the car to Brown because of a rattle in the dashboard, they told me they couldn’t hear it and couldn’t fix it.
My experience at Coleman was completely different. When I told them about the rattle, they had me drive around with a mechanic to see if we could hear it. The first mechanic didn’t hear it, so they tried another mechanic. He did hear it, and suggested they take the dash apart to fix it, at no charge. They did this, and fixed the rattle.
Overall, really dedicated people, very professional service from Jon Duncan, and a great experience.
This dealership used to be good with an older management.
Ever, since Bob Shrader became general manager, JCE treats customers with dishonesty and disrespect.
I leased my Infiniti FX35 ’05 at the end of 2005 and service provided by saleperson Dante was superb and so was service provided by Marianne McGrath.
As my lease expired in March, 2009 I naturally came back to the dealerpship to lease another Infiniti. My 2nd experience wasn’t very good.
While salesperson Joe Davis wasn’t bad, he’s not really a decision maker.
My friends, also repeat customers similarly got bad experience from JCE in the last 1.5 years. If you guys think about leasing/buying Infiniti try other dealerships in the area.

I had to come in to get my second key for my new car. They said that it was in stock, and it turned out not to be in stock so it was a total waste of my time. In addition, their service tech or driver backed into something with my week old car and damaged it and they did not want to acknowledge that they had damaged my new car. They also seem to have no way to determine who damaged my car which is a real problem for me if I ever need service. I would not recommend that anyone use this dealership for service.
I was charged $973.86 for front brake pads, rear shoes, engine belt drive, brake system flush. To say that I was ripped off would be an understatement. The parts cost $277.00
Needless to say I will never buy a car from that dealership again.
