Calling Imperial on the phone is a losing battle, they are always too busy to talk to you when you call, so they take your name and number to call back, however they never call back!
On Thursday 3 Feb 2011 (around 8:15am) I called the service department about tired for 2006 Cobalt that was purchased from Imperial. A spoke to a gentleman named Don who took my information and stated that he would need to check with parts about the cost of the tires for my car, he stated that he would call me back later in the day. I never heard back from Don or anyone in the Imperial Chevrolet service department. Since I understand that things can get busy I let it go and got tires at another Chevy dealer. On Saturday 12 Feb 2011 (around 10am) I called Imperial Service about another issue with my 2006 Cobalt giving an erroneous error code of P0304, and that after checking online, I found that there were two Special Coverage Bulletins from GM addressing ECM errors in the 06 Cobalt. This time I spoke to Erin and explained the issue with my Cobalt and referred to the two Bulletin GM service bulletins. Erin took down my name, number and last 8 characters of my VIN, and told me that someone would be back in touch within a few hours. Imperial never called me back again, so I’ve contacted another Chevrolet Dealer Service Department to get my ECM reprograming done.
