My Honda of Slidell reviewI bought a car from Honda of Slidell in October of 2013. I must admit that I was ignorant to the deception that can happen in the finance office. I was per-approved through my bank for a car loan. I wanted to get a bill of sale, go to my bank, get a check for the amount agreed upon, and come back to the dealership with the check. The sale person “Orin” said that there would be no difference between what I wanted to do and doing the paperwork at the dealership. So I agreed to work with the finance people at the dealership. The finance department put a “FINANCE CHARGE” on the paper work in the amount of $2,500. I asked if that was the amount of interest that I was going to pay over the life of the loan. The finance person told me “yes” that was the amortized amount of interest. I sign the papers for the loan only later to find out that he lied. Now, I am paying a $2,500 finance charge that was tacked onto the loan. This dealership isn’t reputable. Don’t trust them! Brandon Thomas- Biloxi, MS
