Hi,
Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful experience we had purchasing our new 2011 Honda pilot. David Kenney was wonderful. He knew what I wanted and got the vehicle on your lot within a few days. He followed up on everything he promised and was a pleasure to deal with. We had gone to the Toyota dealership as well as Nissan but David was the best salesman by far. I had to bring my ?99 Accord in for servicing this past Saturday and he came out to see us and answer some more questions about our new Pilot. After we left, my husband said, ? I really like him, he’s a nice guy?. I will highly recommend him to all my friends and when my husband’s 2000 Ford truck is ready to retire, we’ll certainly call David.

This was a terrible buying experience– and I did NOT see it coming.
We had already decided to buy a H-Oddessy. My wife had already test-driven and loved the car. All I wanted to do was buy one.
Instead, I was given a smile and made to wait. I asked for a price and was made to wait. I asked about financing and was made to wait. About 90 minutes later, the salesman was able to get a price from the manager. Really??? How stupid must they think customers are???
The price was not competitive at all. I had read Edmunds before arriving and told them that. They disregarded. When I said thanks and was prepared to walk, they suddenly wanted to negotitate and claim that I may be eligible for different pricing or discount options. Really??? Seems they couldn’t figure any of that out in the previous 90 minutes. They also offered me about 30% of book value (Kelly Blue and Edmunds) on a trade in. I left disgusted, I had imagined that style of crooked negotiation was long gone. I cannot believe they think the average shopper is that blind and stupid. Maybe they just thought that of me… no worries, I won’t be back!
