I purchased at 2008 A6 over the phone and email communications and had it shipped. I was told the car was in showroom conditions and had no damage, dings or scratches whatsoever. When the car was picked up from Audi of Charlotte I get a call from the trucker that there are scratches at several areas around the car as well as a huge scrape under the front bumper.Bill Taylor initiated the sale and then he handed me over to Andrew Mueller. When I called Andrew to tell him what the trucker told me he just did not do anything to either apologize or correct the issue. On receiving the car I noticed several stains on the carpet of the trunk as well as a squeal on releasing the break. I have just purchase a certified Audi which apparently goes through a 300 point inspection.I asked Andrew on the squeal and his answer just stunned me. He said the squeal on they breaks were normal due to a high quality break system Audi uses. Just listening to that made me realize this guys is a truck load of crap.In addition being a present owner of an identical car I asked Andrew why the car was sluggish. He replied, Just drive the car aggressively for a few miles and the car should be fine.Audi seriously needs to reprimand these kind of third rated salesmen destroying the reputation of Audi.
In short:
Once you sign on the dotted line, YOYO.
They will flip you the bird when it comes to delivering what they promised / owe you, aka. post-purchase service.
They will try anything they can NOT to carry under-warranty-repairs … to the point where you literally need to get a lawyer.
It is fairly hard to find a dealer with such bad customer service.
