Leased a new rav4 limited had problems with the stereo took it back , the sales people and service associates said their was a problems with the stereo gave us a loaner until it could be worked on Monday . Tuesday my wife is told she just has weak speakers! Talked to the service manager he said they listened to another rav4 and it sounded just as bad as ours their for Toyota jbl parts are garbage so any parts I put on will sound just as bad so it is not a warintable issue. Talked to store manager he said he would take care of us after 3weeks nothing repaired. Service manager said ” I told you we would not fix it and if you don’t bring the RENTAL back tonight I will call the police and tell them it is stolen” after reminding him that the store manager said he would fix it, later he said the charges were approved by the store manager.if you have any problems they will do anything to not fix it. Not to be trusted and will treat you badly, I would never recommend this dealership.
We found a car we wanted at Gresham Toyota. We live over 2 hours away. But we knew what we wanted, our down payment, and the payments we could afford.
We told all this to the salesman Lonnie. He still did his best to get us into a brand-new car instead of the late-model Mitsubishi.
Lonnie chattered constantly during the test drive, even when I asked for quiet so I could hear the engine.
We filled out the credit app. Lonnie tried numerous times to get us to increase our 20% down payment or accept ridiculous interest. After 2 hours they agreed to our reasonable offer.
TWO WEEKS LATER Lonnie said we’d have to negotiate again because the bank turned us down. Said that they never ran our credit.
They should not have let us drive that car off the lot without checking our credit–oh, but wait. They did. It shows up on our credit report. We tried to work it out, but everyone at Gresham wsa flat-out rude.
Bait-and-swtich, dishonesty, and zero regard for the customer.
