I walked into this Dealership and met with a salesperson named Roger to test drive a few vehicles for purchase next week. I did not choose to buy on the spot but Roger was an absolute professional. He is the most knowledgeable salesperson in the business in my opinion. I will be purchasing a vehicle from Roger next week and I would recommend him to take care of my grandmother if she needed a vehicle. Great experience!!!!!!! Management was also polite and professional. Thank you guys for the great service.
Very rude attitude and laid back. It’s a shame for Honda to have such poor quality dealership. Went to Russel & Smith and McDavid and right away felt the difference. You will notice soon enough what the sales person is going to come up with one sleazy tricks and almost force you to buy the car… It was great relief I got out of that place and head somewhere else.
The sales person kept calling on my cell and when I told on their face that I bought from another dealer, I figured he was pissed as hell. but before that I just hanged up the phone myself.
The airconditioner on the Civic had started blowing warm air when stopped at at red light or idling. Mr. Miller said that nothing was wrong, that the freon was fine and that any discomfort was to be expected because Civics were “just that way”. He refused to look at it again, refused to look at any possible causes that I had researched online, and sent me on my way. He then lied later and said that he did not say that Civics were “just that way”—-but still said that nothing was wrong with the car.
I took this car to another Honda Dealer in Katy :):):) and they fixed it —under warranty—-and we just drove it home in 100 degree heat with no issue. By the way the freon was low and there was a leak—–hum—what was Mr. Miller looking at when he found no low freon.
I think that Mr. Miller’s attitude is the Gillman attitude. I never received a call from the service manage, Mr. Troy Schroeder, or Mr. Gillman even though the only curteous person (the telephone receptionist) suggested that she have him call me. They do not care. I would never go near one of their dealerships again. I suggest everyone stay away and go to Honda Cars of Katy—that will save you time even if it is a bit farther to drive.
Willie was a FABULOUS person and would have COMPLETELY bought the car from him. But then, Mr. Gillman made an appearance. I Have never seen such a cocky, rude, unprofessional salesman in my life! He said things that he didn’t think I could hear, treated his staff like they were dogs, and when confronted about his behavior, refused to admit fault or do anything to make it right. He is only 31 years old and makes all of his staff call him “sir!” VERY arrogant! There is no way on God’s green earth that he will ever get one penny from me! He needs to learn what customer satisfaction means, and needs to realize that no one else thinks he is all that he thinks he is!
I showed up not knowing how to turn on the car lights, though I had read my manual. 😮 Reception put a sticker on my windshield for service, but the service manager showed me how to turn on the fog lights and wash the windows. Both
problems I had were addressed and staff were wonderfully welcoming and helpful. The first person pulled up my car on the computer after I told her I bought it in South Dakota. She had all the information on my car, so I did not have to wait to answer questions.
I had the first warranty service in Alabama but will take it to Gillman for follow up warranty service. They are my choice.:D
I was shown a vehicle and then negotiated cost. When I came back to purchase vehicle, I was lied to that it was the very same car I was shown, although it wasn’t…they had switched vehicles on me in order to boost their sales profit margin. This dealership will mislead you, their only concern is their own dollar amount with no concern if they insult the customer and question the customers integrity
My husband and I bought a Nissan Altima from Jerome Hulett @ Gillman Nissan in Rosenberg in April 2008 and would recommend to anyone planning to purchase a vehicle to take your business somewhere other than Gillman. We traded in a truck when we got the Altima and were told that they would take care of turning in the truck to Ford (leased vehicle). We got every reassurance that it would be taken care of and left the keys with Jerome. 4 months later, we received a call from Ford because the truck was never turned in! It sat on their lot for 4 months and nothing was ever done about it. Hindsight being what it is, we should have never trusted them to turn it in for us. After repeated calls to the Gillman dealership and getting the complete run around (including a sales manager saying that they would never agree to that because they don’t turn vehicles in like that – but why in the world would we have left the keys with Jerome and cleaned out the truck?), the vehicle was finally taken to Ford. It was an absolutely unprofessional, awful experience and I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership.
