My sister in law Sandy, bought a jeep, a few day later, it broke, they gave her a jeep liberty as a replacement, a few weeks later it broke, only after a BBB complaint, that I was asked to retract and then they would repair it, could not retract, made more complaints, after that did they agree to tow her jeep and repair it, Sandy is disabled and has been with out a vehicle over a month, read contract carefully, hers had wrong date and mileage, they are trying to rectify problem now, but it took many complaints to be heard
I’ve purchased several vehicles from this dealership and have referred several friends and family members here. I am extremely pleased with our vehicle and can’t say enough good things about Tim French Superstore in Radcliff.
This place sold me a 2009 mini cooper with 43000 miles on it. The clutch blew out 3 months later and he will not help a wounded warrior fix his car after only 3 months. These people a crooks.
I am the General Manager of this dealership. The customer was contacted and offered a solution regarding this matter. He rejected the solution and opted to write this review instead. Also, he was offered a warranty and he declined it as well.
As a former Marine,I understand the position that this gentelman is in. However, we do not know what his driving habits are and it is our opinion that he burned out his clutch. Him being a wounded vet does not have anything to do with his clutch having issues. It is our belief that he may not be equipped in terms of skill or familiarity with manually operated vehicles. Finally, a wounded warrior traded this vehicle in and it did not have any issues when it was traded. Therefore, it is entirely possible that the two gentelman are or were from the same unit.
Great deal on a great car thanks Tim Wilson and Tim French
I bought a 2005 ford focus from them. I was excited about getting my first car. It was feb. at the time and everything seemed to be fine. They told me the mechanic had looked at the car and it had all checked out. Summer time rolls around and I can’t figure out why my A/c unit isn’t working. Turns out there is no a/c!! I big thing they forgot to leave out.I live in KY , it’s 90 degrees outside! And I have to drive around with no a/c because these guys decided it wasn’t important for me to know. I tried to see if a unit could be put in and there wasn’t even room for one! When I informed them about the issue, they told me they would try to help me find a different car. Of course that didn’t happen. So I spend my summers dying in this heat because these men cared about nothing more than making a sale. I would not buy anything again from them.
cars showed by a salesman were dirty and smell bad, other cars were not working from not having heat to never been service ,we felt in love with a car drove home that after getting the deal find out that 2 of the 4 tires were bad and not safe to drive. I try to talk to mister Tim French and They put excuses . I hate myself for going through the deal. They shouldn’t be in business selling junk!
My name is Will Lutes. I am the salesperson in question for the comment above. I feel that if the internet is going to be used to slander my personal name that I should respond.
The customer showed up about thirty minutes before close. I greeted them and began the process of selecting a vehicle. Over an hour later we select a vehicle that both husband and wife can agree upon. It was then well after closing time so we allowed them to take the car home over night.
The following day they return with the vehicle and want to look at more cars. We looked at a few others and drove some more. After about two and a half hours I simply asked if I could earn their business. They said that we could if we met all their expectations. After a short negotion they were roughly $2000 below the NADA book value of the car. They said that they would be happy with that if we could fix a few things that were wrong with the vehicle. We agreed to fix the problems and I thought everything was fine. The next day, after we had already ordered the parts and tires the customer decided that they no longer wanted to do business. They gave no reason. The things that the customer wanted fixed were fixed. I am sorry that we has to wait on shipping for one part. The customer also refused delivery of the vehicle until every thing was perfect.
I am at a total loss for words here. I have been selling cars for a while here and this is the first bad thing that has ever been said about me. If you as a consumer can see what I did wrong please tell me so I can correct it in the future. As to the customer in question, I am sorry that my best wasn’t enough.
This is the worst dealership ever. My husband signed a buyers agreement with all the stipulations of the deal clearly labeled. I am an MS patient and can no longer drive my 5 speed automobile. My husband and I chose this SUV at Tim French superstore because it met all of my physical needs and our budget needs. While we were getting everything in order for the deal they sold the vehicle from under us. I will never go to this dealership again even if I end up driving a scooter rather than a car. And I will certainly not recommend anyone use this dealership. Oh, I forgot to mention that my husband is a Soldier who had just returned home from Afghanistan. Way to treat a disabled spouse of an American Hero Tim French.
