I was completely satisfied with the sales department. I would recommend the dealership to family and friends. And I was completely satisfied with the finance department!
I just wanted to let you know my experience at your dealership was a great experience today. I had my daughters Caliber, and the A/C wasn’t working right and it’s just a little over a year old, and I have an 18 month old grandson that has been burning up in the backseat. I zipped in there and talked with your service department Mr. David Koegl, I just wanted you to know the gentlemen went way about and beyond to help me. I left the vehicle, and the courtesy driver (which was very kind also) took me home, and then today Mr. Koegl called me and said was ready, I said well I have my grandson, I gave my car to my daughter with my car seat to get to work, can he pick me up in the Caliber, he said NO, due to company policy, I said okay I understand. Well I need you to then take baby car seat out, but in courtesy can and come get me. And he did without even attitude, was kind and so helpful, and too my grandsons safety consideration meant a lot. Just wanted to let you know I just purchased Chevy Colorado pickup last month, at El dorado Chevrolet, and got so much attitude and problems at that dealership, even before my first payment, a low tires single light kept coming on for three weeks, and they wanted to charge me to re program it, And wanted to charge me $38 for extra keys without a chip. I wish I would have come to you first, wish I could trade it in to you, with the great experience I had today.
I purchased a used vehicle from Donnie Mac and I have purchased many vehicles and dealt with several sales people over the years. Donnie was very professional, very kind, and not at all pushy. He was honest, and very forward with answers o our questions, and very understanding. I have walked away and vowed to never purchase a vehicle from a dealer because of their sales person. One example is Bonham Dodge/Chrysler. Its unfortunate one sales person can have that much of an impact; but they do. You should be very proud of Donnie Mac. It is because of him we purchased this vehicle, and it is because of him we will recommend family and friends to McKinney Dodge. I understand he left and recently came back to your dealership, I would suggest you do whatever it takes to keep him. I too am in sales, and understand the value of good sales person offers to their employer. You have a great sales person in Donnie. Keep him!!!
I just wanted to let you know how wonderful your service department employees are, my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee was suppose to be towed to El Dorado Jeep to have the PCM replace. I was told by El Dorado Jeep’s Service department earlier in the week that my computer had gone bad. The cost was around $800.00 to replace it. For some strange reason, the tow truck operator mistakenly dropped it off at your dealership instead of the Jeep dealership. I received a phone call from Mike Anderson asking me what was wrong with my Jeep. I told him about the diagnosis of El Dorado Jeep and that I was told there in error. He kindly asked me to just leave it there ant hey would take a look at it for me instead of calling the towing company back. I agreed to do so. He said they would run their own diagnostic test and he would have his mechanic Wayne Autry to look at it. Later that day, I received a phone call from Mr. David Koegl. He asked me a few questions about my jeep and then proceeded to tell me that the computer had not gone bad at all. That it was the fuse that was shorted out. Needless to say I could not believe what I was hearing. I cannot express to you the excitement I was feeling. These three employees of yours had just saved me about $800.00 Mr. Autry replaced the fuse for me. My total bill was $89.88, no the much higher price El Dorado Jeep was going to charge me. They were also honest and to me. There needs to be more people like these gentlemen working for service departments. I especially cannot say enough good things about your mechanic Wane Autry. He is the one that caught this horrible mistake. My husband and I always bring our vehicles to your service department from now on out. We know we will be completely taken care of. When the times come from new vehicles, we will purchase ours and our children from your dealership. Thank you again for your wonderful service department employees!
I personally want to thank you and your staff on a job well done. My husband and I were very fortunate to have been able to work with Mr. Luna. He was a great person and really treated us well. We live in Sherman and have always bought our cars from another dealership… We bought one back in December and it was not the best experience. I work in McKinney and the service Department at your dealership was the one that was servicing my car and so we decided to give ya’ll a chance, and we were thoroughly impressed. I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know how great of a job your dealership did and I will highly recommend you to ANYONE looking for a car from a GREAT place.
I am a recent customer who had the pleasure of doing business with your salesperson Alex Laja. Alex is a great asset to your organization. I feel he truly understands the meaning of customer service. Alex took the time to inform me of all of my options and I never once felt any pressure in making my vehicle purchase decision. In the future I will recommend McKinney Dodge to anyone seeking an honest and fair vehicle purchase.
I called in looking for a spefecific SRT-8 2009 or newer…. because I called a few places prior to I was hesitant but Chris assured me he’d take care of us and that he did. Upon arrival the car was center front and spotless, I was so ecstatic after that everything was smooth, very pleasant working with this dealership, Strongly recommended.
I walked in the dealership and i was treated like a VIP. Thanks guys!
I was very pleased with the visit and had no kind of issues with anyone…
Everything went well at Dodge City and I had no issues or concerns from this fabulous dealership. Thank you Dodge City of McKinney!
I think you misunderstand our request. We are not looking for an apology, but we would rather you shed some light on our concerns. I think you will find some of these issues to be quite alarming. I would prefer you explain your dealership actions on each of our concerns. Your gesture of oil changes is very nice, however we would prefer some honest answers.
1. Why did your staff agree to sell us to sell us a truck and agree to price and then tell us that this truck was not approved for the pricing and rebates discussed?
2. Why did we have to spend 3 hours at your dealership Friday night when the goal is 45 minutes to complete a transaction?
3. Why did your Sales Manager Joe run a credit report and let us know we fell into Tier S or A at the worst, when your Finance Manager indicated we approved for a B rating?
4. Why did your Sales Manger Joe require me to sign a blank contract?
5..Why did we commit to bring in another truck from a different dealership…only to find the vehicle sold and your team would bring in another truck that they claimed would be comparable?
6. Why was my wife not allowed to see the sticker from the truck you brought in? We originally told the truck would have electronic start and a bed liner…the truck you brought clearly did not have these options. We would prefer these options over a free oil change offer.
7. Why was my wife asked to sign a contract in my name only when she came to pick up the truck?
8. Why was I asked to come back to sign again, only to find the agreement that was presented was an unsigned agreement in my name only?
9. Why did your Finance Manager have the agreement reflect a 7.49% rate vs. the 5.49% rate or better that we committed to on Friday night?
10. Why did your Finance Manager require my wife to be a co-signer after we simply requested that you determine if we jointly would recieve a better credit rating?
11.Why did your Finance Manger repeatedly badger me with comments “What is your problem?” when you can see from the above 10 questions we had a reason to question many items?
12. Why did your Finance Manager not allow me to sign the same contract that was presented when I came in a second time to sign? He instaed tried to leverage my wife as a co-signer?
13. How do you justify a thank you from your Finance Manager in the form of “Your an ass” in front of my wife and 13yr old?
14. When I signed the forced agreement, I was asked if it was my intention to sign the contract in my name only? I stated yes…and the Finance Manger stated ” if you were not so difficult I would, but I will not now?” ??????????
15. After I indicated to your Finance Manager this is not the last you have heard from us…he stated ” I welcome it”…..Again…a nice way to say thank you after buying a $30,000 vehicle.
16. Why did your Finance Manager call us 30 minutes later (8:30pm) to let us know “the bank called and I can offer a 6.49% rate now,,,,when my wife asked if this would be honored as the original contract in my name only,,,he stated no,,,we would both still need to sign….What kind of finance tactic is this? Was he concerned that we are serious about following up with this complaint?
Service was great and we will most definitely recommend Dodge City to others!
