Never got to see a sales person because they were all to busy drooling over the young resptionit in see thru pants…when asked for the owner was told he is never there…Ryan is in chsrge….wont buy from them
Salesperson was a great guy but his manager and owner is tief!!!!!!! took my trade for over $40,000 never paid off and keep telling me for last 7 weeks that was a mistake,I have to make my payments for a car I dont own for last 7 weeks,he sold a car to someone else got his money from different bank, never paid off Audi ,poor guy is driving this car doesnt even know about it ,bank doesnt know ,but he took over $40,000 investing ,buying other cars and I have to make a payments ,tief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!this is insane!!!!!!!!! in our beautiful state there is no law when dealer must pay off your trade, who would even think about it this tief owner of Audi of Newton scamming people and not paying off their cars
somebody must stop this scammer ,please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Total scam and a waste of your time. Spent 3-4 hours there with promises to make things better but after we left never heard from them. Had to make phone calls to try and track down our scam artist of a salesman.
repairs were worse. promises of cleaning out a leak in the carpet left the original stains as well as dirty boot marks and handprints on the car. the service dept also broke the button on the center console. our shady salesman wouldnt even come out of hiding the day we picked up the car from the service dept
I wish I would have read these reviews before going to this scam dealership!! I brought a 2011 Mercedes Benz and 1 day off the lot the check engine light comes on and the break wear light comes on and I find CDs are stuck in the player from the previous owner and the cigarette lighter doesn’t work. I call “Tommy” and he tells me to go through the warranty. After he called me 20 times a day, now with the problems he doesn’t want anything to with me. Finally I go through a manager and after 2 days and threats they tell me to bring the car back and they will fix the problems. After one month of them having the car and me making one care payment, I finally pick up the car with the impression the car is fixed. They slapped some brake pads on it and didn’t bother to change the roters, did not fix the radio or the lighter, and the check engine light was gone, they said it was a computer problem. Withing 24 hours, the check engine came back on and now the manager says he doesn’t know what they did in service and he will call me back with the next step. SCAM SCAM SCAM…oh and they sold my trade in. Anyone know a good lawyer??????
TOTAL SCAM OF A DEALER!!!! TOOK MY TRADE IN, NEVER PAID IT OFF UNTIL A CALL TO THE POLICE FORCED THEM TO, 2 MONTHS LATER!!!!!!!!!! THEY LET MY TEMP PLATES EXPIRE 3 TIMES BEFORE GETTING TO DMV TO REGISTER MY NEW CAR!
Do not do business with this dealership!!! My experience was a nightmare.
Jeff was the only good thing about the experience. Otherwise, they have a child running the dealership who has no idea what customer service means. He should be a salesperson in training, not an assistant manager for an entire store. After an argument with him he walked me outside, walked right up to within 3 inches of my body, stood straight and said “come on hit me, please hit me”. I was amazed. Am I an angel in this, no. But…did I expect to be physically threatened by the assistant manager of a car dealership, hell no. BTW, a call to Audi Care was answered with this….”all our dealerships are individually owned and operated and we cannot do anything”. Now if BMW had this issue, the person would be fired and not allowed to work for the company ever again. I guess I learned my lesson never to buy a VW/Audi product again. Furthermore, after having more than 5 local people telling me to stay away I should have listened. Now, looking at these reviews has told me that I should have heeded the warnings even more. If you want to buy a VW go to Trend or an Audi, Paul Miller. Stay away from Newton VW / Audi. They are terrible. All except Jeff and Maggie. Audi’s are just glorified VW’s anyway. The lease cannot be over soon enough. They are crap compared to a BMW.
They let my temp. plate expire & encouraged me to drive the car anyway. Told me they would pay for any fines. Did not pay off the trade until we rec’d a past due notice from the finance co. & had to call the dealership only to be told by several people they didn’t know what was going on & would call me back, which they never did. Finally called the owner of Newton Audi to have this resolved, only to be told by him that he had a lot of problems in that office. Avoid this dealership at all costs.
this dealership is awful i drove 3 hrs to buy a car then sent me on my way with a temp plate and promised to send title the tem plat expired and no title. call after call was not returned one night they put me on hold and went home!!!!!!!
it wasn’t until i got the attorney general, Subaru USA and Audi USA involved before any thing happend. —- unless you enjoy being jerk around find another dealership period
they are awful…. they sold me a car and did not provided the title after my temporary plate expired i could not drive the car!!!!!!! no returned phone calls after promis and promis that i would receive one i truly believe that they sold me a car that they do not have titel to .
stay away at all cost unless you have a lot of time and intrest in being extremely aggravated
I do not have a real problem with the car but I have some iproblems I didn’t expect. I paid cash for the used Saab on June 6. I paid the extra fee to have them get my PA plates. The temp registration expired on 6/27. It is now 7/12 and still no plates, only excuses. Paperwork tied up. I called the manager and left message, he didn’t even have the courtesy to call me back. The girl who handles the registration and plates was extremely rude. I am at my wits end. I purchased this car for my grandson to commute to nursing school now the car just sits and I have to keep finding alternate means to get him to school. Horrible, horrible experience!!!
At first my boyfriend called to schedule a routine oil change and detail. He was left with the impression that Audi would come and pick up the car and drop off a loner. They said they would check the schedule and call back. 2 weeks go by without a call. So I decide to call to try to find out what is going on. I call Thursday I talked to Ricky who said my boyfriend must have talked to Dominic, he was not sure of the details and situation Dominic was off he would check with him and call me back. No call. I call again on Monday I get to speak to Dominic this time he says Ricky is off because he works Saturday he’ll check with Ricky and see what going on and call me back, also at this time he informs me loaner cars are not given for this type of service which only takes an hour for each thing. I insist that I just want to schedule something to get on the books. He won’t let me. He’ll call me back. Wednesday I call and ask to speak with the Service Department Manager HE’S IN A MEETING! HE’LL CALL ME BACK! Still no service and no call back. What a waste of time! Audi of Newton has the worst service department I have ever had to deal with .Go to Honda they actually give a crap.
After a rain storm all the lights came on the dash and the car was failing to shift. I had it towed with 3/4 tank of gas to this dealership. After 5 days I was told it needed at transmission control module that would cost $2,750 and would be done in 2 or 3 days. The third day I was called and told they dIdnt realize how much water was in the car so it would need to dry out before the part could be replaced. 3 more days pass and it needs a new wire to put the module in because it’s still too wet. We went in unexpectedly the following day to find our car being driven. We were told they they replaced everything and we paid $3,000. The car was on E( gas light on)because he said it had to idle for days to dry it out. All the lights were still on the dash which we were told would not be the case. We pulled up the carpet and found the original part still in the car dated from 2003. They never replaced any parts, just let the car dry out for 2 weeks. VERY dishonest scammers.
At audi newton salesman steve is so very kind and honest.
I have never had a better, more professional, and most of all, more honest experience than I had with Tommy Tozzi at Audi/ Volkswagen of Newton.
Let me start by saying I hate the whole usual car buying process. I hate the game playing, the "let me go back to the manager and see" routine. From the Time I walked in, Tommy conducted everything in a honest, straight forward manner. He did not ask me the usual questions, didn’t play games, just acted professionally and put me at ease.
When it came time to do the financing, he turned me over to his financing rep, Asia.
She, also, could not have been nicer or more professional. And, even more amazing, the payments she quoted were exactly what I myself had calculated based on the price of the car. No games, no gimmicks. I was driving my new car in an hour.
I can’t recommend Tommy Tozzi or Asia enough. Not only did I get a great buy on my car, the entire transaction was an absolute pleasure.
This is clearly a fake comment posted by someone from the dealership. BOGUS!
First time there I was practically shoved to buy this car. We spoke on a price then after hrs of paperwork they were going to sell me the car at sticker price. this is a 2005 A4 with low miles. i was given a 60 day warrenty luckily for me it broke down before that. They sold me a car with an uncleared title and 8,000 dollars worth of work. I called them the day after the purchase and they brushed me off. They car’s transmission is completely damaged. I have been treated very poorly and now they wont do anything about this problem. I will be doing everything to get my money back. The car is so damaged that the audi by me stated “they should never have let you leave the lot” This car has no brakes or roters no transmission plus a list of other problems. The title is still not in my name nor in my posection. I wouldn’t be surprised if by the time I’m finished with them this place will be closed…DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM…
I’m on my forth Audi and have been doing business with this dealership for nearly twenty years, but it recently changed hands and is now known as “Newton Audi”. Under the old ownership the level of service was somewhat inconsistent but at least they didn’t DAMAGE my car or try to double-bill me. I recently took my 2006 A6 in for an oil leak under my Audi certified warranty. They replaced my drain plug which didn’t fix the leak and gave me the car back with a nice ding in the door. How do I know they damaged the door? Easy, they attempted to touch it up! I find that very few people who ding your car in a parking lot bother to touch it up afterward. Naturally they denied doing the damage but offered to refund my certified warranty deductible as a ‘courtesy’. I agreed, but soon found they intended to charge me another deductible for the second attempt to fix the leak (which turned out to be seals). When I brought up the point that this was the same issue as the first repair (I went back less than a week after the first attempt) they stonewalled me and basically said that’s the way it is. So they wanted to bill me twice then refund one as a ‘courtesy’. That kind of courtesy just cost them (and probably Audi) a customer.
I wish I saw this before I bought from them. They are horrible…
The sales manager promised me a price, confirmed that he was only running my credit to confirm i qualify for the interest rate promotion – knowing he would not solidify the deal either way…. he comes back, says “wow, your credit is great, we have no problem giving you the preferred interest rate, BUT go to the other dealership to get this price – i wont do it here”….
needless to say i was EXTREMELY upset and he just smiled not understanding why i would be upset…. on top of all of this, Harry (the sales person) was very nice and respectful, i know it wasnt his fault but the sales mgr knew i was coming to solidify the deal and driving an hour and a half to their dealership to complete the transaction…. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPE – they have no respect for you or your time.
I went there the other day to test drive a Q5. I had anappointment with a salesman called Russ. He was not there. Never called met tolet me know. I had to wait 15 minutes until another salesman got off the phone.
I was finally able to test drive the Q5 3.2. It turned outto be a dud. Very underpowered. Audi does make a couple of nice models. Q5 isjust a glorified VW.
I started talking with the salesman about the options Iwanted etc. It turned out that the car I wanted did not exist and I would haveto wait 90 days for it. Silly.
I then asked about the price and how much of a discount Ican get off the MSRP. The salesman went through the usual ridiculous steps of”checking with his manager” three times.
Do all car salesmen go to the same funny school of carsalesmanship? I bought my first car 20 years ago and the salesman did gothrough exactly the same steps then. Nothing has changed in this industry. Noprogress. No wonder it is in such deep trouble.
In any case the salesman showed me some fake invoice priceand said he would not be able to go any lower. When I got back home I wentonline and was able to find the exact car for $4000 less.
I would advise everyone to avoid this dealer.
