This dealership has not been open 5 years and has gotten worse each year opened. Should be shut down, or taken over by someone that cares about people and vehicles.
I have a 2009 Malibu, have owned for 1 yr and a few months. First time in the shop it was for faulty visor mirror covers on both passenger and driver sides. Next was a recall that I am assuming only that it was actually check to be able to give me the ok on it and say all is ok. I had to tell them then that I wanted something showing what they did for my records..Never should have to ask for this. Then my cruise stopped working, they replaced a module(crankshaft positioning sensor). One day after this was suppose to have been fixed, the cruise stopped working again and then would only work ever so often. I took it back in they could not find anything wrong to cause this problem according to their diagnostic testing, I sat there that day for half a day waiting on someone to tell me they fixed it or whatever they were doing, this didn’t happen. In fact their service ad visor walked by me more than one time telling others about their vehicles but never told me anything nor look me in the eye. Finally at noon the salesman that sold me the car came from the service department and told me what was going on, NOT ANYONE from the service department. He told me that the service department ask me to drive and the next time it happened bring it in when it happened. Well it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know this would be nearly impossible to do, considering the distance one may be from their shop and what day and time of day this may happen on. I took the car back they kept it for 2 weeks, called and said it was fixed. They put on a brake module thing this time. I go to pick it up started home and the car isn’t fixed the same problem still existed and now there is another problem that I never had a problem with nor heard the raking and grinding sound when I applied my brakes. So I am still without my car and driving a rough riding pickup that they allowed me to use as a loaner. So far this day I’ve not heard one thing from anyone there about my vehicle and what they will do to find it or fix it. I don’t expect to hear from them as this is the way that they seem to do business with me anyway.
To add to my comments here. My salesman that sold me the car called me to tell me what was going on. He ask me if someone had contacted me about my car which is still in their service department. I told him no I had not heard from anyone that represents their company or the their service department. He told me that they had ordered another brake module for the car and that it would be in the next day. I ask him if they had done anything or checked anything on the noise I heard when applying my brakes. He told me they had it on the rack looking at it. But again as I said common courtesy to the people that have bought expensive cars from this dealership is still lacking. Not only did they not call me as they had let the salesman believe that they would, they didn’t even let him know that they didn’t call me so that he may be able to let me know something. I am assuming that he had no clue that they had not called me until he ask me if I had heard from someone there about the problem and what their next step would be to get this car fixed. I told him that the owner of this company sure needed to let his service department know that they need to at least let the customers know what is going on with their vehicle, because the best salesman in the world cannot sell vehicles if they don’t have a service department to back the sale of their product.
I hope that they get this resolved.
