After to agreeing to match an eprice over the phone with Kristi on a new Tundra. I waste an hour and a half driving over and watching Troy the sales manager play games with me thinking I’m an idiot and trying to nail me another $510 on a satellite radio option. Then insults me by saying “you’re in business would you loose money?” Well guess what Troy??? Elgin Toyota looses money all day long because I even got the truck $400 less for the eprice that you said you would match from Lancaster out on plus it does have your $510 extra sirius/xm on it. So was $910 less than your lousy sales tactics. The “Anderson Attitude” is that you are dumb and don’t do your homework. If you buy a car here you paid way too much. Couldn’t buy a Lexus here from Mike Connelly years ago..ended up in Dundee with a great price. Didn’t even walk in the door to buy my Scion XB….just headed to Schaumburg. If you leave this place with a car thinking you got a “great deal” you are unfortunately not informed…I am working on a detailed description of what happened but just wanted to try to save people time and money. Elgin was well worth the 30 minute drive. If a dealer doesn’t have an eprice icon for the car you want, go find another dealer. Lancaster and Elgin do…of course Anderson doesn’t. This is the exact truth what happened. Don’t waste your time. I was done over email phone in 10 minutes with Elgin Toyota.
