I want to take the time to thank Celeste for the enthusiasm and the motivating drive of excellence displayed over the telephone. Celeste addressed all of my questions, and concerns. She even got me a pre-approval right over the phone. Celeste also emailed me a coupon for additional cash to go towards my down payment. Upon arrival, I was greeted and taken care of. The capacity of people that were there was a little overwhelming considering I had an infant with us. But the service was excellent; the information is up front and plain, unlike most/all car dealerships. The vehicles were all clean, up to date with mechanical work and maintained very well, even with low mileage. I was looking to buy a car from here. I checked their lot, and the cars looked terrible, the few I looked inside of didn’t smell that great either. Decided not to buy that day. I’m glad I checked the reviews. Seems very shady that the negative reviews are all detailed and specific, and many of the positive reviews aren’t and are very generic, or seem like bogus stories. Makes me believe someone at this company is posting false reviews.

I’ve always been amazed when I read online reviews… it seems that there are genuine tributes from satisfied customers as well as emotionally fueled rants by those who, for some reason, want to discredit the dedicated work of a caring company and its employees.
Granted, no one is perfect and honest mistakes may happen. It’s a part of life. But after all is said and done, “the cream will rise to the top.” And from my first-hand experience, B&B Automotive has risen to the top of the Buy Here Pay Here arena.
By giving second (and third) chances to people with bad credit, no credit, repossessions or bankruptcies, B&B Automotive gives dignity and hope to those who have been turned down elsewhere. They work with you… helping you succeed. And in doing so, they help restore, rebuild or re-establish your credit. All of the associates of B and B Automotive were very helpful and did a great and timely job with my car, all of my questions were answered promptly and the work done was amazing. They took their time assessing the problem and made sure that everything was in working order before i left the compound. I purchased my first vehicle with Frank from B&B back in 2008. He was very informative and not pushy at all. It was a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer. I can’t complain about it at all. I had it for 5 years with just minor problems (mostly standard repairs); definitely got my money’s worth out of it. I just went back there on February 9th to trade in the previous vehicle I bought there for a smaller car. I got a little lost, called them up and they were very polite and gave me directions on how to get there. I showed up about 20 minutes late for my appointment with Frank so they gave me Jose. He was also very informative and nice. Both men never came out with me to look at cars to pressure me into anything. I always made my own decision. I wound up financing a 2005 Nissan Sentra. Jose was able to get the price down with some coupons for me since I was a repeat customer. I couldn’t be happier. They also gave me money towards the down payment for my Mountaineer. I haven’t ever had a bad experience. Even with my old Mountaineer, everything went smoothly. I have not so perfect credit, so it’s great that I can get a great running vehicle here. Another great thing is they don’t require you to have full coverage insurance on the car to drive it off the lot. That saves a lot of money right there! I will definitely be going back whenever this car starts giving out which I hope is longer than 5 years.
I had been saving money to buy a used car from a private seller until i decided to go to ACC (B&B, just a different location). Fran was very patient with me explained everything i needed, and was very helpful. He also suggested an extended warranty which turned out to be a great idea as within a month my entire engine needed to be replaced due to a cracked block. I was given a loaner vehicle with was greatly apprieciated since B&B doesnt give loaners. While my vehicle was in the shop all the staff there were very understanding and worked to get my car back to me ASAP. The one thing they could do better is keep up on informing their customers so i would advise the future buyer to call them if they want more info on their vehicle. Once i got my vehicle back the service manager filled my tank for all the inconvience which was so greatly apprieciated as i am on a very tight budget with no room for error.
My payments will be up in a couple of months. I have had nothing but trouble with this car. This car left me on the road twice! I put in thousands of dollars to correct the problems, but just as I pay for one problem, another pops up. Now the transmission is going. I would have paid all my payments for a non-functional car. What a waste of money. The car isn’t worth the amount I paid for it. I am out 6,000 bucks. Don’t buy anything from this dealership. They promise you the world but gives you nothing but junk and headaches. If you have a kid, it is even worse because the car is not reliable. Oh yeah. And driving in the freezing cold is no fun either. This is the 2nd winter without heat.

NEVER EVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE! I recently purchased a 2002 Dodge Neon from this place and from the minute I drove it off the lot had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS. First off the cars speedometer didn’t work. I took it right back to the dealership and they sent me over to Josh at the service center. Josh told me about an hour wait and so my girlfriend and I sat and waited over an hour in the waiting room and when we asked Josh what was going on he told us he didn’t know we shouldn’t have come during lunch time. We waited from 10am until about probably 4pm. I had got news my girlfriend’s father had passed away and told Josh I needed to get the car back now and I’d be bringing it back to him. So I set a date to bring the car back and when I did bring it back he couldn’t give me a time frame for when the car would be done or at least looked at ( I work three jobs I need to know when I will have my vehicle. ) The day before Thanksgiving he gave me the car and apologized that it had not been fixed and said we’d try again after the holiday. Not even 15 minutes after picking the car up from him the breaks FAILED. I luckily got into a parking lot and called Josh and he didn’t even say sorry for it or seem at all bothered by this he gave me a number for a tow truck, but it the was wrong number. I spent 20 minutes getting a hold of a tow truck. Oh, and because this was the day before Thanksgiving was unable to get a rent a car, and ended up missing a day of work where I would have made time and a half. After all of that I decided to never go to the service center with Josh again. He was more concerned with his cell phone and what xbox game he was getting than my car. I finally got my car over to the other service center where they were MUCH better. They knew what was wrong right away got the car back to me in two days and were able to tell me a time frame so I knew when the car would be done. They did awesome. Haven’t had a speedometer problem since. BUT now my transmission is acting up. After picking my girlfriend up from work two days ago the breaks failed yet again and the transmission acted up. It’s currently in the service center, but I have no idea what is going on with it. Also I’d like to say the warranty company AVP was supposed to reimburse me for my first rent a car I sent them all the paper work for it and they still have not sent me a check and that was almost a month and a half ago. I’ve sent them paper work 4 times.
Also even better about the car my sunroof which was the whole selling point DOESN’T work and B&B says that is all on me to fix. My alignment is so off it is sickening. My doors make a horrible noise whenever you open them up.
Needless to say I have made a lot of mistakes in my life, but this car is the WORST one. I wish I had not signed away so many rights when I got this lemon or I’d be getting a lawyer. This thing is a death trap.
Honestly just save yourself the hassle, money and just go to another place. I’ll never recommend this place to anyone I know and I’ll never get a car from here again.
I could have probably got a newer car with less problems for the same price. By the way everyone I pay $203 bi-weekly for this piece of junk.
STAY AWAY FROM B&B!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE!!! ONCE AGAIN DON’T BUY ANY TYPE OF VEHICLE FROM THIS “ESTABLISHMENT”!! First of all, the salesman alternate the front two offices as if they personally belong to them, so when you return there is a completely different salesmen smiling in your face. Secondly, I was sold a car by an individual who promised and guaranteed that the car had no prior issues, except minor things, “mostly interior cosmetic things.” He also said it was newly brought onto the B&B lot. Along with the vehicle passing their 125 points check…This is B.S. simply because when I purchased my vehicle only a day and a half later it broke down on the side of the road. Not to forget, I already had scheduled appointment to get the car’s gas meter fixed after the prior to the incident. For those that don’t catch on quickly..I brought the car on THURSDAY night and it was on the side of the highway by SATURDAY afternoon. When I brought this to the COMPANY’S attention all of a sudden everyone was not available and the office (7021 location) was closed. However, they still manage to answer the phone? Anyways, after sitting in the car for an hour and fifteen attempting to contact the two tow truck companies B&B suggested along with playing phone tag with the various “unavailable” sales personnel. So, apparently one tow truck company had sent all its trucks out already and the other company’s number was disconnected. Someone with a good heart, but heavy conscious came to the rescue and took me back to the dealership. Once there I was given a “loaner” that was not only dirty, it smelled like a cigarette box (for non smokers you can relate). Not to mention it had its engine problems as well, since that car later was checked out by my personal mechanic. Long story short a B&B Repairman called me that Monday and told me that the vehicle had broke down because there was not any gas in the car and that it was ready for pick up. I called to confirm this with the Sales Manager and his response was that it didn’t sound right and that the car should be ready by the next day (Tuesday). He also ensured that he would call me once he got to the bottom of the Conclusion found by their repairman (mechanic). So, my question is when did ‘not having enough gas’ affect the car’s battery? Because the car definitely wouldn’t turn over no radio, no dome light, nothing. Now once again, this is B.S. why because the salesmen had gone to the gas station and filled it up before I even was able to pull off the lot. Than, out of my own curiosity I later attempted to put additional gas into the car since the gas meter was still not working properly. As a result it wouldn’t take much because it was just about full. So, when I showed up on Tuesday guess what People? My car still was not done being REPAIRED!! Exactly, Unprofessional, Untimely, Unorganized, and Unacceptable. Now, here’s where it get good the Repair Manager states that he never gave anyone in Sales nor his Repairman the Green light on the status of the car and that it would be ready. Of course the cycle of blame began from that point and the fishy part I brought my own personal mechanic who asked along with myself that asked again if my mechanic had permission to check out the current condition of my vehicle. The answer, there was none, Except for “Let’s go into my office”. Thirdly, “Kristen” do yourself a favor and don’t bother to respond because you are just as guilty as the rest having me on hold for twenty five minutes; while I was stuck on the side of the highway. Yes, sweetie this is the nice version of what I really want to say about the establishment that you as well as others represent. As, far as I’m concerned there aren’t enough apologies or gentle half ass puzzling remarks that could be said to replace my time, money and energy through this Brief Week of HELL brought to you truly by B&B Automotive aka B&B Auto Car Lot. I purchased my first vehicle with B & B in 2009 while I was still in college. I had such a great experience with the short-term loan that I returned to purchase another vehicle just this month. The service is excellent (Micki was so nice). The sales persons for both visits (Frank & Mike) were very informative and easy-going. I didn’t feel pressured at all. I was actually very surprised that with my bad credit I was still able to purchase a vehicle. I am working hard to restore my credit and B&B is helping me get there!! Thanks guys:)
I have purchased my vehicle from B&B in Febuary and I love the car. I took it to Pepboys for my first oil change in June and the Tech didn’t know how to reset the change oil light. I called and spoke to Jack last week and he told me to bring it to Josh in service. Josh greeted me and listened to my complaints. He got my vehicle in right away and directed me to thew waiting area. Approx. 20 mins later my vehicle was ready to go and Josh didn’t even charge me for the service!! Thumbs up for Jack and Josh in the service department!!!

I was compelled to write a review to defend B & B because the few negative reviews here really paints an unfair picture of this company that helped me alot. I guess Im like probably most of their customers, very happy and satisfied and wouldn’t ever think to post a review because I don’t have an ax to grind. Let me tell you my story: I have purchased 2 vehicles from B & B and refered 2 of my family members. I would NEVER send a family member to a place i wasent 100% comfortable with. The first car I bought was with frank who is an absolute sweetheart he treated me with kindness and respect. That car did break down about a year into the loan! but it was totally my fault. I didn’t know I had to change the oil …oops! Probably what happens with alot of theses people complaining, when you grow up in the city noone teaches you how to maintain a car right. But I didnt scream and carry on and blame them I owned up to my mistake and asked them for help. Even though it was totally my fault and they knew it, B & B PICKED ME UP FROM WORK, got me in a new car, and took care of my first loan. What dealership does that???? With this 2nd car I lost my job for 2 months and I called helm associates and they were very nice they and worked with what I could pay untill I was back on my feet. I definately recomend all to buy a car here if you want to do business with a company that will go the extra mile for you.
I found B&B on Craigslist when I was looking to buy a car, and called in since it said they helped bad credit. Do to a bankruptcy and a car repo last year when I got laid off, it’s been hard to get ahead enough to get driving. I worked with Kelsea and she was actually able to get me preapproved and set me up with the sales manager Frank. It was nice to be treated like a person, and not a problem, which has happened alot in trying to get an auto loan with lousy credit. I’ve sent a few friends and family memebers to them, and got $200 for anyone who sold too.

Was totally ripped off by this dealership.Bought a car that is a piece of s**t.Has many problems has been taken back and repairs supposedly done on it but yet still makes the same noise.When you try to call about your vehicle they don’t answer the phones and when you get voicemail and leave a message they never return your call.Have the car for only a total of 4 days and now am stuck with a 2 and a half year loan on a car that will probably not even last 6 months.Would not recommend this place to anyone.
And oh yes the manager at the auto credit store is rude and ignorant.
Those pple that claim they work with the bank are Fucking assholes..is needed a towing and when I called the warranty company the Company told me that they don’t have my name as a customer and yet I have the paper work and had been paying for it…it is such a shitty place. When I called the representatives, they told me that I call service and vice versa. They gave Mr lots of run arrounds and felt like I was gonna put a heel on their assess….I gave up the car and had Teresa massi calling me to see If changed my mind…..l would recommend these dealership. I’ve dealt withB and B’s service center on a few occasions, the one across from the Burger King. We bought a 2000 Olds Silhouette from them, and it has been a fairly reliable van so far. We had a problem with it not starting at times, and it stalled a lot. it would turn over but not catch. It didn’t happin all of the time, but we dropped it off there, and the mechanic said he had a idea what was wrong with it. He told us he needed the van over nite so he could fix it the first day, and drive it the next to make sure it was fixed. We came to pick the van up, and the same guy, Mike, spend the time to take us both for a long drive to show us it was much better. It was!!! He said he found a broken wire, and made a new harrness for it. He was very curtious, and proffesional and it started with no prolems after it was hot, which was the problem.. We had it back for a month now and it starts and runs just fine. We will go there for all of our repairs even after were done paying for our van, my wife and I feel trustworthy in them, and feel to take the time to write a good review. Kem G.
I bought my car from them May 2010. I should have known better, as when I was in there getting ready to purchase my car, a very unhappy customer walked in yelling and screaming. They immediately took him to another room and closed the door. Most of their cars appeared to be complete junk and way over priced, we did see one car, that my husband liked, we test drove it, and decided to buy it. On the window sheet, it listed keyless entry, however, after all of the paperwork was signed and handed over, when they gave me the keys – it wasn’t keyless entry! I said something right then and there and they blew me off, told me it didn’t say that, and conveniently they couldn’t find that paper, which was obviously a lie. Within the first few days of having the car, the automatic locks and windows stopped working, the check engine light was on, the gas tank door wouldn’t open, and the seat warmer didn’t work. I had this car back and fourth to their shop at LEAST 3-4times. They refused to fix the seat warmer (didn’t fall under warranty), the rentals they gave me were crap, they were the cars waiting in line to be fixed, I’m sure. I’ve put so much money into this car at other shops for repairs, and the check engine light is STILL on. Also when I was there buying the car, they said if you ever have financial difficulty to contact them and work with them. In July 2011 I lost my job, I immediately found a new job, but was going to go about 3 weeks without pay, I contacted them to see if I could lower my payment for ONE payment, just so I could pay my other bills. I left countless messages and never heard back! I had to borrow the money to cover my payment. Even after my horrible experience, I ALWAYS paid on time, and found it ridiculous that they did not have the decency to call me back regarding making a payment arrangement.
I’m SO happy I’m done making payments within the next month. I’m sure the car will completely die at that point, but at lease I will be done with this terrible place for good! Now they have been calling me telling me that since I’ve been such an awesome customer, making all of my payments on time, they are offering an upgrade, and will pay off my remaining loan. HA! I wouldn’t buy another car from this place if it was the last place left on earth! I’d give negative stars if I could.

I recommend Conicelli Toyota in Conshohocken. I applied online first, they called me back the same day, I scheduled an appointment today. I was there for 3 hours, was able to trade in the POS I bought from B&B and was able to buy a 2013 Camry without paying a dime today. They included all of the taxes and fees in my payment. Plus, my monthly payments are slightly less than the payments I made to B&B….though it’s a much longer/larger loan. They have certified used cars as well
My husband and I have horrible credit, but with him cosigning the loan, we were able to do it.

We’re glad that your specific financial situation allowed you to obtain a longer and larger co-signed loan from another dealer. Congratulations!
For some people, however, a “buy here, pay here” arrangement with a smaller and shorter loan is not only financially beneficial, but it also eliminates the need for a co-signer who is burdened with the obligation to pay a larger amount for a longer period of time if you, the buyer, are unable pay.
Another value of Buy Here-Pay Here is that by paying regularly, your credit score will actually increase, typically up to 100 points. A higher credit score means more opportunity and lower interest rates!
Our suggestion to others: Consider the impact to you and your family as it relates to a commitment for a longer and larger, zero-down payment co-signed automobile loan. Also consider maintenance and annual inspection costs (B&B offers a free extended warranty and free lifetime inspections) and try to “expect the unexpected” with regard to future expenses and bills, before you jump into a long-term contract you may not be able to afford in the years to come.

Just an update – I finished paying off the car. When I pulled my credit report, as they report back to the credit agencies, to see if it helped my score any, I found out they only report to one of the three agencies. I also had even more problems after. I took it to a few mechanics who told me to just junk it.
I ended up going to Conicelli Toyota in Conshohocken and the experience was so much better! I was able to trade in this POS, and get a new car!
You forgot to add that conicelli has been in business 10 years longer then B&B automotive. In addition, conicelli’s vehicles’ conditions are WAY MORE transparent online. Lastly, when buying a car, I was taught that a “good quality vehicle” will last longer then a cheap one.

I purchaced my vehicle on 2/9/2011 from B&B in Croydon had 1 issue after I purchased the vehicle the belt tensionor broke on a Sunday. I had my vehicle towed into the service lot next to the diner in Levittown at 815 am the next day I had a phone call from service Monday morning asking me what was wrong with my car. They told me it should be done by end of business day and i asked them if it could be done by lunch time because it was our only car in my family and had to get to work and wife had to get the kids from bus stop. Sure enough they got me right in and around 12pm I got a call to come get my vehicle and it was all done. I just took my car back to service next to diner again to take advantage of the free state inspection. My appointment was for drop off for the day then pick up by 5:30 when i got done work. 1pm came around and I got a phone call telling me what I needed for inspection things I thought I needed but was hoping I didn’t need right away. Brakes, 2 tires, and a headlight. They gave me a price of $489.00 I didn’t know what to do I asked if I could let anything go which they could not it was all inspection related and I needed stickers so i didn’t get tickets and cost me more money out of my pockets which I don’t have. i asked them to work with me any way they could and I was shocked when the service manager called me and told me news I wasn’t exspecting. They asked me to put half down and $50.00 every week. I just need to say thanks to B&B for helping me in all my needs from sales and service. Thanks again Scott D.

I regreted this purchase on day 4… I purchased a 99 venture van with low miles. I couldn’t believe that I paid 3 times the blue book value in great condition which it was not. On the 7th day my break line was leaking, which the warranty didn’t cover nor did they fix it. Then one week after that the brakes (rear & front) went, and the axiles. NexNext month I finally went to use the air because it was too hot, not to mention me and my children have Asthma. It didn’t work. The compressor was bad. Money has been spilling out of my pockets since then. TO TOP IT OFF…TOTAL PRICE OF THE VAN AFTER EVERYTHING IS… $13,526.73!!! I COULD HAVE PURCHASED A NEW VEHICLE FOR THAT PRICE. I CAN’T WAIT TO PAY THIS OFF.

When researching and comparing automobile pricing, it’s important to remember that you may not always be comparing “apples-to-apples” even when it may appear that way. There are many factors that dictate“total” vehicle price, including the type of lender loan and the credit worthiness of the buyer.
Because B&B Automotive utilizes a “buy here, pay here” program via an in-house private lender, B&B can offer special pricing and short-term payment plans to those with no credit and bad credit. Other companies use 3rd party lenders who offer higher rate, long-term co-signed loans—often with severe penalties for non-payment, slow payment and buy-back.
Consider: Vehicles, sadly, have parts that wear over time and need to be replaced. And checking Blue Book value by simply looking at a bottom line figure may not tell the complete story.

I had a similar situation. However, I did not get a warranty. The “check engine” light kept coming on. when I brought the car in for repairs, they gave me one of their cars to drive for the week. They fixed the problem. I told them that I just got the car and feel that it is not my responsibilty to pay for a rental or the repairs. Although, they were hesitant they did exactly as I asked.

My wife and I went into the dealership then met Tim, went over a few cars we seen on the lot. The prices were good, and they have great in house financing, they worked with our credit issues and our income.I would and have reccomend people to them.

This is my second car we have bought from them just like the first one it has a major break down before pay off. They are good at getting you a car with the in house financing at 17% interest and bi-weekly payments.
So your $5000.00 car will cost 9500.00 to own in 2 years, that doesn’t include your repair bills. Do your self a favor, walk and save your money to buy a new car.
The worst place to finance. Don’t he fooled abt fixing ur credit. These Pple will get u stuck. I’ve been having issues with the check engine light on my vehicle. If u have an issue with the car and call the service centet, the technicians don’t even bother calling the customer back. They r so ignorant. The y will shut off your car if u r late a day with ur payments and u can’t drive the vehicle. I can’t stand this place. I really feel like I can just abandon this vehicle anytime.
