Drove 2 hours to the dealer ship and they tell me, “its on another lot and you dont want that, i can find you something better.” searched the lot all day and found nothing, so we agreed to come back the next day. Came back the next day and looked at an hhr, but “mike” told us that was way out of our budget, but we looked at the car online and it was advertised at 15,900 and we told him that. he said “wow, i’m glad you said something thats perfect, i thought that was 19,900!” So we went inside and talked numbers and agreed that including even payoff for my trade i would be financing 16,000 out the door. It got late so they told me i could take it home and leave my trade there just come back the next day to finish paperwork. I came back the next day and told “Mike” i would be a moment outside while i purchased my insurance. I came in after paying for it and “Mike” tells me, sorry we cant get you approved. I didnt understand. they could see I didnt have a single blemish on my credit report….. so i just left and went home wondering why… well as the weeks went on i began to get letters in the mail from various banks… Suburban had ran my name for 22,000 nearly 20 times! i couldnt even begin to understand why. so i called mike and he said, well that was the final purchase price… i told him i signed a BLANK PAPER that he said he would add the numbers later.. he said sorry i signed a paper allowing for 22,000. I filed a complaint with the BBB but that hasnt gotten me anywhere yet.. Still filing complaints with other places including the ftc. this place is a FRAUD! My credit score dropped nearly 18 pnts just from them!!!

My Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac reviewSaw a car online that we were interested in. Being 45 minutes away, we called ahead and were told “sure, come on in and check it out” and they gave us a time.
We arrived at the specified time and were asked to take a seat and await our sales person, Charles. Well…Charles never arrived after nearly 40 minutes.
The car we drove to see wasn’t available..it’s on a different lot. They find it and say “oh, it’s no good, not selling it.” (two weeks later, the car is still advertised)
Inquired about a few more cars…waited 90 minutes…STILL NO CHARLES..hadn’t even met him yet..working with his young secretary who fields his calls and makes him tea.
None of those cars available either…and it is suggested we walk the lot and see if there is anything else we might be interested in. Um..already did that.
3 hours later…Charles comes around, shakes our hand and tells us he’s really sorry the cars we want are not available, but he will help us find something and to meet him on the lot. We waited on the lot for 25 minutes before packing it in and leaving.
It is incredibly obvious that this dealership is crooked.
While there we listened to two dealers have inappropriate conversations with others. Were ignored by our sales person (we are white and watched him fall all over two different black couples who walked in..not realizing that was him at the time) were told to come in and see a car that they had no intention of selling..but use to bring in people.
Over all…they used a car they do not have at any of the stores (but still today have advertised on their website)to bring us in and have us buy something more expensive…kept us waiting without regard when they realized we were never going to buy something more expensive and were interested in lower cost cars.
They promised to call later that night..did not. We went up the next day to meet Charles again at another specified time…we went for point and purpose as we were going to Ford Dealer across the street..from whom we did end up buying a great used car!! Again tho…Charles was too busy to even acknowledge we were there..as he sat in a differing cubicle drinking from a styrofoam cup!
Never will I recommend this dealership! The reverse racism was awful too! Unfortunate for them as we were paying cash!!
had the exact same thing happen to me at the same dealer! They even ran my name nearly 20 times for a car they didnt even have!

Went in and Jack and I took the CTS for test ride, upon returning to dealership, Jack introduced Bob Kanerva to me , by the time he got done talking he told me for a AWD it was 40 more dollars a month. I knew that he was adding $$$$$$, Heard radio ad again, the lease was for AWD model for $299.00 a month for 2 yrs.. Well I called the dealership told they story they asked me what they could do I said nothing ,, I would never buy a car from their dealership. don’t trust them.
I also have a complaint in into GM. about this. I would hate to think they did this to me because I’m a woman. 😡

They were very proffessional. I am thankful that throughout everything that they worked with us until we came to an agreement. They had the H3 that I wanted and unfortunately I can’t take back the comments that I had made out of anger. I was very upset and I do understand that mistakes can be made. In the end I am happy. And I would definetly purchase from them again. As a general manager, Mr. Mosser was very busy and took the time to speak to us and was extremely nice and made this all happen. And I was happy that Ann was so pleasant to me as well. So I would like to thank them.

My Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac reviewWe went to Suburban Chevy in Ann Arbor to purchase a pre-owned vehicle. My husband found something he liked and called the saleman, the next day (Friday) to negotiate. After many calls back and forth they struck a deal and my husband put $100 to hold the vehicle until he could pick it up on Monday. Two hours before we were set to pick up the vehicle, the sales manager, Scott Green (who had been part of the negotiations), called my husband. He said that he could not follow through with the deal that was negotiated on Friday and if my husband still wanted the car he had to show up with an extra $600! My husband told him he did not trust the dealership and would not do business with them. We put in a complaint with the BBB and I intend to rate them everywhere I can so other people do not run into the same scam. I advise everyone else to walk away from any deals these guys try to make. They are sleezy and did the old “used-car saleman bait and switch” routine – do not trust them! 😡

My Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac reviewMy husband and I were horrified by the way our sales consultant Ann Martin treated us. First she was very unprofessional with her demeanor and was wearing dirty clothes. Second she tryied high pressuring us to buy a car today. When that didnt work she became very frustrated and got rude with my husband. We both got up insulted by her overall treatment and left. We took delivery of our new Malibu from Heidebreight Chevrolet. We are also taking delivery of a Silverado for my brother tomorrow. Ann did us a huge disservice- she is doing Suburban a huge disservice. Suburban lost our business due to the poor treatment of their very bold and rude sales consultant. Someone should tell her to wash her clothes before she comes to work as well. Her overall appearance was unappealing.:mad:

Especially cash. The used truck I purchased was way over priced(salesman claimed he gave 8900 for!) and there are many things wrong with it including a$ 400 brake job, obnoxious ding that won’t quit upon opening the door$ 80 fix. Radio broken $ ? windshield chip, tailgate dent. It’s a V8 not a V6 as told nor will it fit in my garage. No one returned my calls and the manager could care less when I met with him and expressed my dissatisfaction with this purchase.
I wanted to trade for something else but soon found out they expected me to buy it outright. Quote was for another $9000! So I’m stuck and stand to loose thousands when I sell it as they so over valued it. A complete rip-off that I’m telling everyone about. If they did it to me, they will do it to you.
