I actually bought the car because of Jeffrey, but there was a black gentleman there at the time training him and
helping him close the deal. This gentleman pressured me so long until he wore me down, and I purchased the car on
10/9/2010. This man berated Jeffrey and sent him out of the room as if Jeffrey was stupid.
I needed time to think about it, and would have probably have bought a more expensive Hyundai, had this older guy
not pressured me so.He was afraid I would change my mind.
People who really need to buy a car as I did would not have changed their mind except for maybe buying up, not down, so that pressure was unethical, and I have had a bad taste in my mouth since I purchased the car under pressure. Lately, my Hyundai would not start (Sun. 13th),
and I am now concerned I will have to pay more out to get it repaired although it is under warranty at this time.
I was very impressed with the CEO that day. He even gave me his card. Now I cannot find the card and would like to talk with him. I have had issues with my cruise and took it in last yr., and was told there was not a problem.
I like the car, but wpuld not come back because of the sales personnel’s strategy to wear you out emotionally until you buy.

After dealing with this particular dealership, I am surprised they still hold a dealer’s license; however, they have acquired brilliant methods to financially victimize unsuspecting customers. I thought I had purchased a 2011 Sonata and notice the operative word here “thought”. I sold my paid off SUV based on the many lies and deceitful acts that were committed during the deal. I was promised tinted windows and after about 13 days, I called back regarding the promise. The Service personnel initially told me to bring the car over. About 5 mins later, I was called back & informed by the Service Dept that my paperwork was incomplete. I was then transferred to the Finance Person, Matt(I will not give him the honor of attaching “manager” as a title),who informed me that he couldn’t find financing & I would need to return the car….WHAT?? You mean after I sold my only vehicle & spending nearly an entire Saturday there, I am being told that I had been driving a car that had “NO”financing; not only that, I had not been notified by anyone. Matt emphasized that when I called for the tinted windows, a red flag went up…Well, I am totally perplexed as to what the consequences would have been had I not called. Josh(General Man)got involved & basically threatened to come take the car back if I didn’t bring the car OR 2500 back as a down pymt. I am currently working with an attorney. THIS IS SCANDALOUS….THE “SPOT DELIVERY”/”YO-YO”scam!! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AS THIS DEALERSHIP IS UNETHICAL AND EVIL!!!! If anyone remembers the big scandal with Harrelson Toyota pertaining to fradulent acts “just to get an approval”. BEWARE………BASED ON MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS “LIARship” to anyone but the Devil!!
I would stay away from this dealership if it is at all possible. I bought a car and the price we negotiated was not the price I ended up paying for the car. We agreed on 29,200 and I ended up paying MSRP for it because I trusted that what they said was what they would put on the finance papers I signed. They are untrustworthy. You would think the fact your added “1800” to the negotiated price would be an important peice of information. I saw the mistake when I saw how much my loan was for and the only option they gave me was to return a car I already fell in love with. They “said” the price I paid was 29,200 plus the dealer options (tinted windows ect) but its funny that 29,200 PLUS the options still would have been cheaper than the MSRP. Good Try crooks. To make matters worse the car left the lot with the tire pressure light on because their service department was closed. Also when I got home I noticed the hood didn’t line up with the bumper, a black plastic peice in the wheel wall didn’t line up with the bumper, and the fog lights didn’t work. I call and the salesperson tells me to come on up there and they will fix it. I drive 1.5 hours to find out its appointment only. I drive another 1.5 for the appointment and they tell me they fixed everything but the hood and I have to make another appointment with “their” body shop to fix the hood another 1.5 hours. I’ve put almost 500 miles on the car just driving to them. HORRIBLE PLACE TO BUY A CAR.
My experience at Fort Mill Hyundai was pleasant, both times. I first purchased a 2007 Santa Fe from Macklin and 6 months later returned to purchase my second used Sante Fe from him. He worked very hard, sometimes becoming obviously frustrated with his managers to give me the deal I needed. Of course, as expected, there were things that he could not offer per the managers but I was impressed with his efforts and sincere determination to please me. I have been pleased with the service and continued effort to maintain my satisfaction.
This place is awesome! I don’t know how anyone could have a problem with this fantastic store and thei staff!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
This is the worst dealership I have ever encountered. They will lie to your face once the contract is signed and say what they had promised was never said! We bought a used car from them, several days later we received a phone call that said some of the paper work needed to be re-signed. We went back in to re-sign and were told that everything from the original deal would be honored, however when they submitted the paperwork to the bank, they failed to include the additional warranty. By the time we found out, the info had already gone to the bank and it was “too late” for them to fix their error…their solution, purchase the warranty later at a much higher rate and cost to us. We even had copies of the original paperwork that showed the warranty info and they still won’t honor it. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone!!!
The best service experience i have ever had at a dealership level nice lounge, free snacks, smiling employees and great prices.I am even bring my toyota for them to service.
LIES,LIES,LIES
I took my car to Carolina Hyundai of Fort Mill for service. The work was very poor. They first used a defective part and then tried to charge me. Went to CEO for assistance to get the work done. The service manager does not know the first thing about customer service. The service manager used profanity toward a customer. The general manager did not apologize for the way the service manager acted. Acted just as bad as the service manager. No consumer should purchase a car or obtain service from this dealership.
you better take a tape recorder w/ you…the sales manager:devil( is nice to you up until you sign the contract. Then he will deny anything and everything he had promised you….
the worse experience I have ever had at car lot….
you must look at other lots before you deal w/ these guys….
VERY,VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE….
