I bought a 2010 Corolla new that has defective steering. Car is real hard to steer on the freeway. No steering feel. This car is unsafe to drive because of this. I have been back to the dealer several times and they refuse to help. All they say is nothing is wrong. Thousands of consumer complaints on the internet about this. Also after bringing the car in they never called me to see if i was satisfied. Almost all dealers do that these days. Very disappointed with carlson.
We bought a used, sight unseen in person, off the internet (saw pic) on internet, from several states away.
Did it all over phone, and then we paid a private party to deliver it to us.
We had a few moments of jitters as anyone would have in this situation–but all went really well, and the car was EVEN better than described.
We did our own financing
Aaron Schmitt was our sales person–and he was GREAT!!
thanks,Steven Dickerson NM
My first experience at Carlson was excellent being that it was the first used vehicle I have bought. Everyone was very straightforward and they helped find the perfect truck that fits my needs. Who wouldn’t be happy! They addressed any concerns I had about the truck before purchasing (the hitch I wanted thrown in) and I went home very happy that I did business with Carlson Toyota. My truck is still my favorite purchase to the day and I am proud to have the Carlson plates on the back and represent their company. If you want a good experience with staff that truly care about their customer go to Carlson.
We were just going out for a bit when I looked up at the service sticker to see we were in need of maintenance. We decided to drive into Carlson Toyota and see if by chance they could get it in for needed maintenance. We were surprised to have them say sure no problem, appx time would be one hour. We said ok and went itno wait. About fifty minutes later out truck was sitting outside washed and ready to go.
Very friendly personell.
Fast and a plesent experience waiting in their waitinr. Many tv’s to watch whatever you wanted, coffe, water cookies. All of this made the waiting time fly by and we were back on our way.
Thank you for delivering such speedy and friendly service.
We went twice to this dealership. First time was in the summer of 2010. We were looking to purchase a Tundra. The salesperson kept showing us Tacoma’s. We were looking for used low mile Tundra. He informed us they only have new Tundras and showed us those. No help we left and bought a Tundra at another Toyota dealer. We decided to give them another chance in November 2010 for another car for my wife who didn’t want her Jetta anymore. Funny enough, it was the same salesperson. This time he was better, but they claimed they gave us their lowest price which was $1000 more that what we were offered at the dealership we bought the Tundra from. No such thing as customer service here. The salesperson kept going back and forth to get a better price and finally the manager came over and said sorry they couldn’t make a deal. They test drove our trade in and low balled us until we showed them the value we received at the other dealership and they offered to match. When we got back in our Jetta, we smelled smoke. The person that took our car for a drive was smoking in it. The manager refused to adknowledge that he smelled smoke and denied it the entire time. I will not get a car from them even if its free. Greg the night manager sucks!!!!
After putting a $500 deposit on a out of stock vehical at Carlson Toyota, I later found the same car at a different Toyota dealership. I signed no contract with Carlson Toyota but when I decide not to buy a car from them, they refuse to refund my deposit. It took two months and the help of The MN Attorney General before they I got my money back. I will not deal with Carlson Toyota again. (Sounds like a Denny Hecker Deal)
After putting a $500 deposit on a currently out of stock vehicle at Carlson Toyota, I later found the same car at a different Toyota dealership. I signed no contract with Carlson Toyota but when I decide not to buy from them, they refuse to refund my $500 deposit. Even after filing a complaint with Toyota Consumer Relations and calling directly to the dealership, they refuse to explain why they were refusing (stealing) my refund. When I finally made contact with someone in finance they treated me with no respect by calling me names and saying I had to take them to court to get my $500 deposit back. It took two months and the help of The MN Attorney General before they I got my money back. (Sounds like a Denny Hecker Dealership)
