I bought a used 2007 Sonata from Dick Milham. I had to have the Engine replaced 3 Times!!The third time I asked if they could put me in a like vehicle other than my existing car, since it seem like it was a lemon ( they did cover the engine…but still lots of back and forth and loaner cars etc.) The could not get me a comparable deal and would not pay off the 4K that I owed still on the car ( they wanted to bury it in the next vehicle I purchased) For all the craziness I went through, I think they could at least give me another Vehicle for same price, or pay off the car, since it was their lemon they sold me….No Dice.
NOW, they say the catalytic converter went ….they want almost 2K to fix it ( Not Covered) All I do is seem to pay out with this car. The offered the same deal…get me in a new car and bury the money I owe in a new deal. WHY??? why should I pay fro their mistake??
Very, very poor customer service. My daughter went in and spoke to a newer salesperson. He gave her a quote on the car and financing. The next day we came back and all BETS WERE OFF! They assigned her a new sales person, who didn’t even say goodbye to us when we left! They didn’t give her as much on the trade (like $1200 less), they hiked up the price of the car, and they doubled her interest rate! I had to fight with them to fix things on the $15,000 USED car. She took it there today and they are a bunch of swindlers! They took adavantage of a young girl buying her first car. Horrible service, horrible sales tatics, and very dishonest! You guys give USED CAR SALESMEN BAD RAPS!!!
Walt, the service associate is a total rip off. I wonder why this guy still works in this dealership. This guy runs down all the details of the charges quick but if you look closely on the receipt you are being charged with unexplainable charges. It takes you a long telephone call to have the charges be reversed. Very unprofessional with dealing with customers, explaining things quick so you miss out the details of the charges. What an excellent business practice. I was able to reverse about 20% extra charge he placed on the receipt after a long haggle over the phone. I wonder how many customers he has duped. Watch out for this guy, if not the whole service and sales department. It’s a total ‘F’ for this review. ‘F’ as in Fail. No bells and whistles for this company. They should have placed an ‘F’ on the overall rating, a rate of 1 star is too much. I’m going to repost this to all review sites.
I went looking for a car at Milham Toyota and was approached by a salesman. I liked the car and requested a final quote. I was given a written quote for 15K. I told him I was going to think about it and left. After I came back I asked for the some salesman, I was told that he no longer works there. The car was still in the lot however with a price tag for 20K. I told tried telling the manager that i was quoted for 15K and they denied all possibilities. I showed them the written quote that was handed to me with their letter head by one of the managers. They denied it and the GM came down and indicated that it couldn’t be true. His exact quote was “even if it was then, it isn’t now, this is America and I am free to raise my prices as much as I want.” They were not professional at all. Would not recommend this dealer. They are also wayyy over price compared to other local dealers.
