I purchased a new 2011 Enclave only to have two electronic problems two days after driving it. It took the service department over three weeks to resolve my problem. During that time I returned to the dealer four times, and waited an hour each time for them to fix it. One the third time, I waited an hour before being told that they couldn’t even locate where they placed my part in the shop! By this time I began to express my frustrations with how long it was taking for them to fix my new car. At no time did anyone call me to keep me informed of when my job would be completed, whether anyone was working on finding my original part or ordering me another part, or to even apologize for my many inconveniences even after they were aware that I was unhappy. Representatives from GM customer service were considerate enough to call me and offer assistance when they heard about my experiences, but even though they also spoke with the service manager at Shelton, Don Figurski, he never once called me to keep me informed, apologize or even introduce himself to me even though several other employees made him aware of my dissatisfaction. One the fourth day I was in to finally fix the problem, I was told upon arrival that the managers were just talking about me in the office, yet nither manager, or servie techs, approached me during my hour wait or before leaving to make sure I was satisfied with the completed job. Shelton Buick had several opportunities to reach out to me after knowing that I was upset about my experiences. I also wrote a personal letter to the service manager expressing my thoughts, but again, no one felt the need to acknowledge me. Happy customers must not be a primary concern for Shelton Buick. I will be sure to take my future sales and service business to other dealerships.
