I traded in my corolla in with a alpine stereo. Well they told me it would be better if I get the stock stereo and give it to them and they will remove my stereo and give it back to me. Well when I called after a week Jeff jerked me around about taking it out after he told me from the start he was going to pull it. So after 2 weeks of bugging him he tells me im all set. I go up there and grab the stereo in a box threw it in my car and when I got home they actually tried to pull a fast one on me by swapping my blue tooth alpine radio and giving me a cheesy alpine with no blue tooth. what kind of bullshit is that? I am going to raise hell tomorrow. Do not trust this punk ass. JeFF
My boyfriend and I go in to look at a new Jetta. After deciding on a color and model we decided to put 500 dollars down, which we were told would look really good, and were VERY specifically told it would NOT be deposited until the financing guy got back to us–who had decided to cut out from work early. When Owen gave us a calculation of how much we’d pay a month with a 8 percent interest rate on a 6 year loan, he quoted us for almost 150 dollars more than it should have been. Several times we had been told that people would call US back–all of the times, we had to call THEM. When they finally told us our quote, after being told by another salesman that we should have no problem getting 5 percent, we got in contact and were told Owen put us in for a 5, not a 6 year loan, and that it’d be a 7 percent rate, more than we could afford. So, he said he could run the check again under a 6 year loan and see what came back. My boyfriend told them to do so and that IF everything went well, he’d be purchasing the car. Apparently, the manager took this to mean to go ahead and put the paperwork in. WITHOUT our permission. When we went down in person to get our money back (we were told it would be kept as cash on the premises and that we could get it back if we wanted it.) My boyfriend firmly but politely told the manager all the problems he had, and all the things that had been said that were false. The manager, Lesner, responded by interrupting my boyfriend and raising his voice at him, to which he responded, “Sir, will you please let me finish?” Lesner’s response? “NO, I will not let you finish!!!” Lesner continued to yell at Nick until we finally decided to leave. I will NEVER go here for ANY reason again.
My experience was pleasant from beginning to end. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and personable. I had some concerned about buying a pre-owned vehicle but had everything explained to me very thoroughly. I have since brought the vehicle back for several oil changes and have never had a problem with that department either.
They provide a shuttle service, so I was able to get to work and back and again, everyone is very friendly.
I am still pleased with my car and with the dealership!:)
Excellent VW Dealer!!
I went into Crowley needing a timing belt replaced. Before the technician even asked why I was there, he told me to get into the car, and check all the lights/signals. I was informed I had two break lights out and a “headlight” out (which was illegal to be driving with according to him).
In addition, the timing belt was quoted at “over $1,000” according to the Crowley VW technician.
Upon bringing it to another mechanic, he found all the break lights to be working, and the “headlight” that was out, was only a daytime running light – which is not needed to pass inspection). The total price for my timing belt replacement (water pumps, and tensioner included) was under $700.
Crowley technicians are clearly trying to rip you off, and perform work that does not necessarily need to be done.
Their internet ad was a fraud. Their options list included two options that were not on the car. The internet ad did not contain a disclaimer. The options list on the side of the car was the same with a disclaimer that it was the duty of the buyer to insure that all options were there. I missed the small print at the bottom. I did not see this list until the second day I was there late in the afternoon after they held me up. The missing options are fog lights and tachcometer.
They did not change the oil on the car. The maint reqd light was on and I had to turn it off. It comes on after 5000 miles which were on the car when purchased. I still have to change the oil.
It has taken them over a week to get the title to me when they said it would be in the mail the next day. Six days the car has set because I could not register it.
I did not check on everything do to travel time from NY 400 plus miles over two days, the weather which was horrible, an operation I had just gone through making me quite tired, and they did not provide a place for me to go over the car while it set in the rain. In fact I did not see the option list on the car the first day I was there. It appeared on the second day.
Yes I should have checked. Make sure you check if you buy from them because they use fraudulent ads and blame the inaccurate information found in them on others they hired.
Do not trust these white collar criminals. They knew the score and use some options to bait you in.
I have saved a copy of their internet ad and will send it to you if you want. Just contact me at [email protected] .
