This year was the first ever for the Broomfield Brawler, an urban adventure race around Broomfield. As part of the race Sill-TerHar Mazda hosted a task that required racers to change a tire before they could continue on. It was a great event that benefited the Broomfield Rec Department and F.R.I.E.N.D.S. of Broomfield. We thought we’d share some pictures of our check point.

The sales experience was what I would expect. The reason for the low rating is due to their Service department/service practices.
Buy it there, get it maintained/serviced/repaired elsewhere!
Have been to this dealer for regular maintenance 6 times to date.
1) put wrong grade of engine oil – specs full synthetic, used convetional the first time, semi synthetic the 2 time (got caught), ful synthetic the third time (at my insistance), semi-synthetic the 4th time, full synthetic the 5 and 6th times (at my insistance)
3) 30K maint cycle – insisted that ATF needed changing – specs say “..150K miles unless severe service conditions”, I drive it to and from work mostly on the freeway at 55-65 MPH” —
4) left oil cap off of filler area — splashed oil all over the inside of the engine compartment (twice)
5) insisted that oil service interval was 5K miles per the specs — the specs say “… 8K – 10K miles or when IOQM states otherwise..”, I have been averaging 8K with 20% left per IOQM.
It appears that the service techs/experts don’t even know their own product’s specs ….. you have to read it to them from their own manuals (I have had to do this!)
Made an appointment for Warrenty service on Friday, the appointed date was Wednesday at 07:30am. Delivered the truck on time and was told that the evaluation of the trouble I was having would be done defore noon and repairs if any would begin on the appointed day.
Well:
1) Got a call at 2:30 PM – “we can’t get it in”
2) would you like to pick up your truck (UNREPAIRED!)
3) No diagnostics done
4) No repair done
5) No ETA for a reschedule …..
