I have has my Kia Sorento fixed at Luther Nissan Kia 3 times for the same problem. The 1st 2 times they fixed it the same part failed before 1 year. The last time they fixed the same problem again they not only forgot to hook up the vacuum line for the 4wd but then the same part failed after 3 days. I go back there because the seal is leaking oil and then they tell me it will cost over 1900 dollars to repair. I just paid them 756 dollars 3 days prior. Then when I complain about their mechanics not being able to properly repair the problem the dealership manager blames it on me.
I purchased a used Nissan Altima from Luther Nissan Kia. Everything was great from start to finnish. My Salespeople Mark Gilbertson & Mike Kelly were a great help. They gave me a Carfax and a copy of the inspection their service department had performed. They actually fed me and my bf lunch:). His manager Rich and I drove my old car I wanted to trade in and he was very nice! I got a great interest rate, better then I could get from my own Credit Union or TCF. I will be back for sure!
Bad customer service…if they feel like you are a waste of their time and they can’t make commission from you they will not bother to give you a courtesy call whether you are approved or not on your finance application.:mad:
I purchased a Murano last month and I wanted to express what an excellent buying experience my wife and I had. We both had been looking for some time for a vehicle that would be a good financial decsion and also it met the demands of our family needs. We initially had a price point that we didn’t neccesarrily want to exceed, and accessorized with certain functionality. We where met by our sales person, Dave Ramy who made us feel very comfortable and was very knowledgeable about the vehicles his dealer carried and other models we had been looking at. We looked at a handful of cars and then we looked at the Murano. My wife and I loved it immediately. Although it was a little more than we needed, Dave was great at poitning out some advantages that the Murano would give us that maybe the other models would not meet our needs. In the end, we purchased the car and have been extreamely satisfied with our choice. I would recommend Luther Nissan Kia to all my family and friends. I recently purchased a Nissan SUV from this dealership.
The salesman and manager I worked with was Joe Ray , and Rich Spah.
Both of these guys were class acts.
I have visited 5 dealerships around the twin cities over the last few weeks and I also used to work at one myself and this was by far the best one I visited.
They gave me a very fair deal without having to haggle with them on price. They never tried to tack the BS fees some other dealers will.
They were very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous throughout the process.
they checked back with me numerous times when I was waiting for the finc guy.
I would urge anyone to visit that dealer if they are in the market for a car.
I would highly recommend this Service Department! I knew my vehicle needed a couple things repaired that I have been putting off. After bringing it to them, and talking with Greg, he explained and helped me prioritize what needed to be done. He was not pushy, and talked to me with respect and answered all my questions. As a female, that was very improtant to me. And after calling to compare pricing, I was even more impressed with Luther Nissan. I will definitely be back.
This was the best experience I have ever had in purchasing a car. As a female, I was treated with respect, and Chris was great at answering all the questions I had. Even though the Finance people were continually busy on the Saturday that I was there, I did not have to wait too long, and Eric was very friendly and courteous when I was in there. He still took the time to go through everything I needed him to. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone!
I shopped for new hatchback online and I narrowed it down to the Nissan Versa and Honda Fit. I sent out requests for quotes and Raleigh was was the first to respond of four dealers. He gave me alot of information on the vehicle along with pricing. I set an appointment with Raleigh and a nearby Honda dealer because they offered me the best price. When i went to the Honda dealer, they didnt have a Fit with the options that they said they did and were really pushy. I left dissatisfied to say the least. When I showed up at Luther Nissan, Raleigh was with another customer but he had the Versa we spoke about pulled up for me. His manager Mike helped me and took me on a test drive. He was very knowledgable. When we sat down i was worried we were going to have to negotiate because Raleigh wasn’t there, but the pricing was the same as discussed. when I signed the paperwork, Eric (i think)was very nice and not pushy. Raleigh was able to show me all of the controls before I left and even set my Bluetooth. I will recommend Luther to anyone who is shopping for a car.
I have purchased 2 cars from this dealership within a few months. The first vehicle had check engine light the day after I drove it off the lot. The back and forth trips because check engine light is back on. They finally bought the car back and I purchased another vehicle (???). The vehicle had hub caps no floor mats and a stereo that sucks beyond garbage. Weird noises occur when I turn left but I am at my breaking point. I simply cannot deal with anymore of this nonsense. I have not experienced anything like this before….. well except the car that was before these two. Purchased a vehicle at Luther Volkswagen in Burnsville. Also horrible experience

Bob Avery – the salesperson that I worked with was extremely nice. His boss, Rich Spah, on the other hand was extremely rude and inconsiderate. I was planning to buy a car, until I met Rich and was so turned off by him that I decided against the purchase. Rich was trying to tell me that nothing was wrong the Toyota Rav4 that I was looking at – the Toyota’s front bumper was loose, the hood did not close properly and there was a large crack on the underside of the bumper. His attitude was so rude that I was shocked and instantly told them I could not give my money to such a business. At one point, Rich Spah walked away from me when I asked questions about the cost of repair for the bumper…I usually do not write reviews on websites, but tonight’s experience deserved to be known.
Very typical of Rich.. Don’t know how he’s still employed
