The sales manager named Dallas Steiger is a total flaming jerk. We bought a 2014 Frontier on dealer trade. They delivered a 2013 truck with a swapped out radio, a broken blue tooth system, an extra 100 miles on the odometer and NO spare tire.
My wife and I decided we would just accept the depreciation and trade in for what we wanted. We went back ready to take a 5 or $6,000 hit. We went in after telling our salesman we wanted to swap the truck. The sales manger came up and without asking what we wanted he started downplaying and rationalizing all our concerns. He never asked if we wanted to trade. The salesman clearly saw that we were there to buy MORE and that the sales manager was just making us more and more angry.
He finally got that we wanted to trade and then this clown sales manger started playing games with the numbers meant to screw us on the depreciation and to make us pay full sticker on the 2014.
I called him on the numbers and he started yelling at my wife and me … And kicked us out of the dealership yelling he “won’t do anything for us and to take your truck and get out!”.
My wife called Bill Wallace’s office and his secretary had the General Manager call her. He said he would investigate but never told us what he found or did to Steiger. He offered to order us what we wanted at a decent price. So we ordered a 2014…
We asked on five different occasions to send us the order confirmation so we could ensure we were getting a 2014 exactly as wanted but never got anything. The last time my wife called it sliiped out that “Dallas orders all cars for us.” So we figure that not only did Wallace do nothing to keep this sales manager from abusing customers, we have zero confidence that we will get what we ordered.
Needless to say not only are we done with Wallace Nissan, we are done with all of Wallace’s dealerships. This company does business like it is the 1980’s all over. Mullet-wearing sales mangers and forcing customers to sit in the middle of the showroom floor to conduct business even though there are offices all around.
