Went in hoping to buy a used car advertised in auto trader. Drove 2.5 hours to get there, test drive went well, and was excited to purchase the used car. Upon them appraising my trade in and offering me $6500 for a car that has average trade in of $13000 I was upset. They looked it over again and came back with $7500. I almost took the deal and was about to negotiate the price of the used vehicle when they informed me that advertised price is what they sell it for and there was no talking about it. I walked out with lots of wasted time and a long ride home. Upon leavening they informed me that the $1000 deposit wouldn’t be refunded for several days because it was at closing on a Saturday afternoon.
The vehicle I was looking at was a Nissan Rogue 2008 and it had the car fax. It mentioned it was seen often for tire issues. I test drove the vehicle and the light indicator was on. I asked about it and the sale rep said this happens all the time, just buy it and put special air in the tires. I came back the next day and expressed that I was not happy with the sale rep and indicated I was interested in the car, but it has an issue. The new sales rep left me sit for over an hour and drove the vehicle around the lot, then came in and offered me $300- for my trade-in. I asked him whether he fix the light indicator and said no they did not know what was wrong with it. They didn’t care the care was probably a lemon and wanted to just get rid of it and give me the lowest price on my trade. I walked out. The next day I found a dealer with integrity and bought a car and got $1,600 on my trade. You need to read the car fax reports – the Nissan Rogue was bought at auction – and they did not know until after they bought it that it was a piece of crap. So buyer beware. i am done with this dealer.
My husband found a car listed as used in EXCELLENT condition and we did our research on the dealership to be sure that we could trust them. We live in a different state and had to pay a transport company to get it to us. We found out on delivery of the car that it had to be jump started to get it onto the truck and the rear window duck taped because it would not stay up. The driver had to jump the car again to get it off of the truck. We took it immediately to our family mechanic and found that there was a piece of carpet in the engine!!! Yes, carpet to soak up the oil! It needs more work to it than we paid for the car and when we showed Phil the detailed list from our mechanic he told me he couldn’t do anything about it because we bought it as is. We bought a car for a price we thought was fair as it was advertised in excellent condition, but even poor condition has a mechanically functional engine. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone! Their solution was for me to pay to ship it back and they would refund me the money after they inspected the car. How am I suppose to trust them after what they sold me? Please, make sure you do not trust a dealer just because a majority of their reviews are good! It could be the biggest headache of your life!
We bought a 2005 Subaru for my 19 year old daughter back in August. We were given the option to buy the service contract and told that it was a “good deal” and covered most problems having to do with the driving of the car. It cost alot but we figured we better. My daughter drives back and forth to college and we didn’t want the unexpected car maintenance bills. New the car has a problem and we took it in for service. The service department cannot work on the car because it is a Subaru and told us to take it to a Subaru dealer. When asked about the warranty we were told it would not be covered. Thank you so much Tom Masano. I hope you are happy with the extra money we handed you for nothing.

When we got to the dealership we were told the car was in disrepair and on it’s way to auction! The salesperson (Curtis Sites)wasn’t any better!! He repeatedly told us that had he known why we were there he wouldn’t have taken the time to help us! NICE! We AND our money will be going elsewhere.. their loss!
