This was a really easy purchase. I saw the car I wanted online, confirmed thru email that it was really at the dealership. Went down, took a test drive which was longer than the other dealers I visited. That really gave me a better feel for the car. I had done some research online about pricing so that part of the process went pretty smoothly. A little back and forth but it was always respectful and much quicker than in the past. So far everything is great. Love my new Mazda3 and the entire experience was much better than I expected.
I am a woman who has had prolems in the past with being ignored at the car dealership when looking for a car. (Men don’t think a woman can buy a car by herself).
When I arrived, Jeff came right out to see if I needed any help. He spent quite a bit of time with me talking about the cars, taking me for some test drives. I did buy a Mazda and I love it. The person in the finance department was great going over everything and I was not pressured into anything. I have had it in the service department twice for some service, and the people have been wonderful. I am extremely pleased with my Mazda and the service/treatment that I have received from them.

Never was quite able to fix any problem without hundreds of extra dollars.
Reassembled body work with epoxy instead of clips.
Their excuse for the broken sparkplug they installed to try to fix a misdiagnosed bad head gasket is that heat broke the ceramics.
Just for the record the only reason I gave any category any stars at all was because it made me! These guys are liars and crooks! Buyers beware you do NOT want to do business with this dealer. We purchased 2 cars from Balise and have been loyal customers for 10+ years and after an accident they called with a $210 estimate and then 2 hours later called with a $758 estimate. When we got upset that they had not checked out the car thoroughly the first time and things got heated (and admittedly we used some profanities) they refused to fix our car and told us it was unsafe to drive and that we should have it towed. Then when I filed a BBB complaint they were bold faced liars and said that we had refused to have the car serviced. These people put my family at risk in driving an unsafe car and then have the nerve to lie about. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from them. Buy from Modern Motors Mazda in Thomaston CT, I wish I had!!
This is the most unorganized dealer i’ve ever worked with. Only reason I continued with the purchase was because low price on car. Drove from NY to buy in MA, when I drove there to inspect the car with a weeks notice I would be coming and with my loan check at the dealership the car WAS NOT DETAILED. What a waste of my time. Now I’m getting the runaround on recouping extra money back after they screwed up the numbers. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM.
